When you count global numbers Floyd won't even reach half of Pac's.
Care to go against me on this?

Considering the circumstances on both fights 1.3M is very good.

Consider this hypothetical situation. If Pacquiao fought the same Mosley that Floyd fought first what would have been the numbers, greater than 1.4M? Then how about if Floyd fought the same Mosley that Pacquiao fought, a Mosley coming off two losses and a year older. Greater than 1.3M?

What am I driving at here is that head to head Pacquiao is the bigger draw. I argue that if we can use a time machine and make them fight the same fighter at the same point in time Pacquiao will make AT LEAST the same PPV.

However, Floyd is very good at timing in(boxing) and out of the ring(business). He is smart. He picks fights at the right time. So he is indeed the cash cow of boxing. Pacquiao could do the same thing but he doesn't. Floyd's fight choices are better than Pacquiao's PPV wise.

last 2 PPV bouts - Manny has more buys.

2011 head to head - Manny wins. No way 1.3 Million PPl buying a fight with 2 non P4P fighters.

1.3 million PPV buys is an incredible number for what most called a **** fight and many even calling for boycotts.

Floyd fighting the #1 welterweight at the time drew only 100,000 more, seems kind of disappointing when you compare the two.

There should be no comparison, it's just natural for an American to be the cash cow vs a Filipino in the American audience!

1.3 million fighting a shot fighter is sensational.

I warn however, this is still Arum speaking. Dan Rafael is only conveying what Arum told him.

Showtime has yet to announce that the numbers Arum speaks of are real.
