Floyd stop trying to act like you're some pioneer...

Floyd wanted blood tests....Manny agreed...why not accpet that Manny agreed to test, even though it wasn't going to be random testing throughout the fighters camps? He could have taken that and made the fight but he chose NOT to accept it.

 

I never read all this before do you have a link or source for me so i can see it for myself. Also was these test you are talking about urine or blood test? Either way it should have been no problem period about the test, just like it was no problem for Mosley! Mosley knew it was something that would make the fight get done so he is doing it. If you want the fight and want to beat Mayweathers ass like Shane does then you make the fight happen.

 

I couldn't agree more anyone against strict drug testing in boxing in the steroid era is a ****ing idiot. People are cheating their asses off in sports right now and boxing is no exception.

2nd test is 30 days out...not two weeks! These were strickly blood tests that Manny agreed to and unlimited urine tests if required by Floyd.

Shane also said that he wouldn't require Manny to take tests if they were to fight b/c he felt Manny was clean and that he felt he could beat Manny regardless. He was willing to do whatever was necessary to make the fight with Manny as he was with Floyd.

 

I like it that he's putting some focus on blood testing but still.

Didn't Mayweather start the negotiations with Pac by sending out feelers right after the Cotto fight.

Mayweather brought fort the testing because he feels Pac is on PEDS. He didn't bring it up to get out of the fight or disrupt training, but to insure that Pac is not on PEDS. Its possible that he feels even more strongly about this style testing for all of boxing after the Pac negotiation have fallen through even though that may have not been his true intentions from the beginning.

Also if this thing does stick, then Mayweather will allays be attached to this thing making this part of his legacy yrs and yrs and yrs down the road after he is gone. So why wouldn't he want this thing.

 

To me that is questionable b/c WHY after the cotto fight did he begin to change his feelings on Manny? Why not start that **** after Ricky, DLH, Diaz, JMM, EM or MAB?

Why start it when it's evident that Manny would be his next opponent? All I'm saying is that it's suspect to me that Floyd's "Timing" was too convient to over look his newly revamped stance on "caring about boxing" when for years his character suggested that he cared only about his ends. And boxing was just a vehicle to obtain those ends.

Man you guys fail to realize that Floyd and his family has been around boxing a long time. They have seen many boxers in their time. Pacquiao is doing things that no one has ever done. When he beat Cotto they way he did alot of red flags went off for them. Its like oh you hit 80 homeruns this year? That has never been done in the history of baseball. So Mayweather Sr. and Roger spoke up when other people in boxing was thinking the same things plain an simple. This guys has become GREAT after 2007 and it doesnt make sense.(He was good but now an ATG) So they say test the guy and if he is who he say he is then we will see in the ring.

What the hell is Shane supposed to say. He's a ****ing steroid cheater, so of course he wouldn't have been in a position to ask for steroid testing. And besides, Shane is just desparate for paydays. He'll do whatever is necessary to get money fights.

 

EXACTLY!!! That is like asking why a defensive line coach looks at a Line Backer and says, "Yeah, that dude is probably juicing." These guys are boxing experts and experts on the human body.

They going at Manny for the same reason MLB went at Bonds, McGwire, and Sosa. It is fun to see them hit like that, but damn it if something isn't fishy as hell about it.

 

PAC HAS BEEN doing these things consistantly for years...that's where I begin to question Floyds motives. Sure PAC is doing some amazing things that very FEW have been able to do...but it's been done before...duran, SRL, Robinson ect have all done this.

Manny became great after beating MAB....which was long before 2007!:good The problem is that there are NO TEST THAT ARE PRESNTELY ADMINISTERED BY ANY ORGANIZATION THAT IS 100%. The accusations that were spread by Floyd is there. No matter what tests are done there will be some who still question Manny being able to somehow beat the system. So giving into Floyd's demands is a no win situation especaially if he gave in and ended up beating Floyd b/c you best believe Floyd and company will say that Manny won only b/c he somehow beat the tests that they demanded and that there aren't any tests that will catch the "A side of Meff" that is only available in the philipines.
