i have no problems with people picking mayweather and listing most of the advantages he has but physical strength is NOT one of them. hatton's strength proved too much for tszyu and castillo who are both stronger than money-may. i know strength means **** all but i just thought i'd point this out..:deal
Overpowering Mayweather does not appear to be the way to beat him though. I think you have to win with distance and timing. Hatton has power, but if you watch Hatton when he throws power shots he really needs a little cooperation. If you don't stand in the exact place you need to stand for him to plant his feet and throw the short hook. He probably wont knock you out. I think Oscar had what it took to get the job done if he could have. But Hatton will need something other than power imo
I think your going to see a different Mayweather in this fight. Gatti, Oscar, Corrales, Ndou, even hernandez, were all believed to be far stronger than Mayweather, and he shut them all down. Hes such a complete fighter, he adapts and does whatever it takes to beat his opponent. If he needs to make someone honest by putting the heat on them, he does it, and i think thats going to happen in this fight. Hatton is going to be throwing a lot of punches, but he may soon find himself on his ass, as Floyd is awesome at punching in between his onslaughts. Hattons not a big puncher, and Floyd is so difficult to hit cleanly, so hes going to take more chances, than he did with Oscar. Hatton will definitely hit the canvas in this fight, bank on that.
