How would it be a mutual card since Floyd didn't know Kessler? :patsch

I understand but from experience, when a fighter that is respected is placed in Ward's position, the wisest thing to do is be mutual upfront. But behind the scenes, support who you're going to support. Otherwise, it creates animosity as what's happening now between him and Mayweather.

Thats a fine point and I agree to some extent, but they are both grown men...Floyd needs to accept that Ward is backing his childhood friend and IMO, Ward didnt mean any harm when he made that comment...Its really nothing wrong with that...Floyd is just blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Thats all I'm saying.:good

Ward has freedom of speech, he can say whatever he desires (of course within common ethics), if Mayweather gets offended, it is his problem.

ppl can argue all day about wether or not Floyd has a right to feel disrespected. at the end of the day, the bottom line is that he threw a fit because Andre Ward, who's had nothing but praise and respect for Mayweather for years, said he would support Floyd's opponent because the guy's from the same area and he personally knows him.

i've been a huge Floyd fan for many years, but that was a ***** move to me and there's no way i'm defending that ****.

I agree about Floyd blowing this whole thing out of proportion. That's his character.

Just like Floyd has the freedom to say whether he likes. There's two sides to every coin. That's all I'm saying.

 Don't be ridiculous. This isn't a school playground. These are grown men. A very good friend of his who he's known for years and comes from the same area as him, is fighting. He has every right to express support for him.

Mayweather just needs to grow the **** up.

But both Guerrero and Floyd are american. You're trying to compare things that can't be compared, stop it.
