But that is boxing. Remember Oscar got hotels and promotions and all kinds of stuff. He is a walking bank roll. Remember he is probably going to have his hands in Floyd pockets if Floyd keeps getting him to promote his fights. You do not see too much of Don King promoting no more just Oscar and Arum. Interesting.
Your numbers are way off! Granted this is from Wikipedia but this is what I found on their purses for the fight in May. Firstly, PBF's earnings will be diluted with all the personnel that he will have to pay - it's team-Floyd really. Secondly, endorsements make the majority of any top-class sportsperson's salary. I think they're estimating that Tiger will become the first true billion-dollar sportsman in history in 4 or 5 years time - because he is incredibly marketable. The only other person that I could see reaching those kind of numbers would be Lewis Hamilton in a decade's time.
After this fight he might be top 5 this year, Mickelson making 51 million this year is a shock, he has had a fine year but I didn't think he was THAT rich.
I'm sure Oscar, on top of his purse for his fight against Floyd, made alot of money on the Hatton - PBF fight
