When you consider that HW's back then are practically LHWs by todays standards, MW to HW doesn't seem all that amazing.

No, its not a greater accomplishment than flyweight to JMW.

All those guys are names, just like Tank Abbott is one of the MMA greats because he was one of the first big names, or Royce Gracie. Put Royce Gracie with todays top MMA fighters and he would get wrecked. Jack Dempseys record isnt particularly great, what other ATG HW would get beat by a MW?

Watch Floyd vs DLH and it tells you all you need to know. Floyd at best is behind DLH. Floyd is like Klitschko, hes the beneficiary of a lack of elite fighters in his era and he avoided whatever tough challenges were available to him at the time including the only other elite fighter.
