So Oscar was past his prime when he fought Tito?

What are you talking about? Oscar fought Tito during his prime (8 years earlier in 1999) Oscar's prime was probably 95-2000, peaking around 98ish. By the time he got to Floyd, his speed, his power, pop, was noticeably diminished.

You said Oscar was 8 years past his prime. The Tito fight was less than 8 years before the Mayweather fight. Furthermore, Oscar was 34 when he fought Mayweather. So his prime ended around the age of 26 or 27? I don't think so.

You are a fool. Floyd is a jackass at heart and it's not my fault I'm not going to admire and be a fan of one. I do admire his skills but am not a fan and personally think he's the biggest disgrace to boxing as per the way he holds himself as a champion. He acts like a ghetto thug AKA fake persona meanwhile he's a silver spoonfed brat. Sorry you admire such poor qualities in a person.
THE MAN BEAT HIS GIRLFRIEND! for fuk sakes.

And yes, I was a big fan of him before he brought out that jackass in him and was my second favorite fighter behind Oscar, and STILL liked him after he beat Oscar.

As for the elbows, would you like me to post a video of them on Ortiz's face? And the one that lands seconds before the headbutt? If the ref was doing his job he would've been deducting points, which the ref did in the castillo fight after several forearms/elbows to castillos face. Cortez is an awful ref, how he missed the sucker punch was worthy of termination as a ref.

You seem to care quite a bit about him being rich? Do you get a cut for sucking his nuts? :deal

Yea Tony is bad but Floyd trumps him and has a much louder voice as per his popularity compared to what Tonys was. Tony was just disrespectful to his opponents and if anyone really pissed him off and there's quite a few others like him. Floyd is in a leauge of his own for arrogance and straight up jackassability.:good

It's not at all. He didn't beat Hopkins and he only beat Oscar and Mosley when they were washed up so he really shouldn't be bragging, especially considering Oscar gave him a run for his money. Another point of him looking like a moron.
And just since you went there with the golden boy name, if I recall, Oscar got that name because he won GOLD at the oympics, and if I recall, didn't floyd only receive a BRONZE.
So in essence and to be accurate, Floyd should be named "The Bronze Boy":lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:"

Oscar said " Floyd is the P4P #1 in the world and Canelo is the people's champ from Mexico"
WTF is wrong with that? Why Floyd gotta get so butt hurt?

I didn't hear what the trainers said but that is irrelevant for him to call Oscar out for saying he's P4P #1 in the world.:huh

Believe me, he would have many more fans had he held himself with more class, tact and overall respect for others. He isn't where he is from being a jackass. PBF was a decent guy from what I remember, ****y but semi-respectful. Money is a whole different animal -- a donkey. :D

He is just so selling the fight. It must pain him though, that Canelo is already a bigger star than he ever has been or will be.

Gentlemen, please calm down. They are selling the fight, that is all.

Floyd is Oscar De La Hoya's employee. Because Floyd is always the favorite Oscar chooses the underdog to "win", in an attempt to sell the fight.

Floyd is Oscar's cash cow, so Oscar NEEDS Floyd. Without Floyd Oscar's company would not be as prestige as it is right now.

Floyd worships Oscar. Oscar is Floyd's idol. I wuld go as far as saying they both like each other very much.

I do believe you are right, and think Floyd deep down loves oscar all day long, but the jealousy always gets the better of him.
If it is just for ticket sales, great job, but I don't understand how calling the promoter out will sell a fight. Reminds me of the WWF or WWE i should say.

Biggest laugh in all that was Mayweather saying " You build em up I knock em down"
What happened with Manny Paquaio & Tony Margarito Floyd ??? I didn't see y7ou knock either of them down LOL In fact you made every excuse in the book to avoid them.
You aint the best Floyd only in your own mind
