People talk about Manny's output and blitzkrieg style which no doubt is a force. He throws, throws, throws then throws some more so many of you feel he overwhelms Floyd . Heres all I want to say about Master Floyd the boxer's skillset to this point of his career and why a KO or landing a big shot(and that still hasn't worked yet) is really and usually everyones only gameplan......

Floyds most vulnerable stage is early in the fight while he's putting together an assessment . So I'm going to skip to when he figures you out.

Floyd stance is decieving as hell. From it you can't tell what the **** he's going to do. He leans a little forward and jabs to the body. Then hell do the same motion but then jab you to your head. Then the same motion again that may make you guess that he's jabbing to the body again to make you react to protect your midsection but then he comes up top with a lead left hook. He repeats all steps for awhile then comes with a lead straight right when you where finally grasping his routine and thus once again youre thrown off youre game. Then he even ****s with you more. Maybe he'll feight this time which makes you react then he pops you with any of the above or goes to the body. Maybe he'll throw a little 2 to 3 hit combination .**** he also grab and hold you. My ****ing head is hurting just trying to explain it. Imagine the fighters in the ring. He makes his opposition think and over analyze . His opponents spend more time trying to account and grasp just what the **** is even going on then throwing punches. This is why opponents output go down the shitter.

Floyd has no rhythm or routine for his opposition to read because of his versatility . It's too much to decifer. I just explained the offensive standpoint. The defensive is just as bad. Bottom line he makes you miss. It's frustrating to throw punches and not land. You begin to demoralize. Your punches don't carry the same intensity and effort and you begin to accept defeat. Floyds opponents have spurts of frustration where they throw punches to try to find sucess but he always keeps it minimal not to mention counter them for getting out of line. Need I even mention the footwork and movement . It's too much to comprehend for a fighter like Manny who just goes toe to toe and has never dealt with speed or a fellow caliber of athlete . In fact his opposition is quite biased.

Bottom line is you guys are right early on in the fight. His output and power can definitely cause huge problems for the 1st few rounds. But if Floyd reads Manny you will see this post in action. Manny has a very set style and routine. His fought guys that fight his fight. Floyd will more than likely make Manny chase him and fight his but anyhow hopefully Floyd finds the motivation to give us all this fight and Manny takes the tests up to the fight.

P.S. Don't forget the dragon that spits fireballs. He responds to adversity damn near immediately.

Summed up. Good post. Floyd explains this to Smitty.

  6. Along with the best offense in the game, Pac also brings with him excellent footwork, ring generalship, a vastly improved right hand (KO power now), high work rate, an iron chin, and the heart of a lion. His defense is not the best, but it's definitely very underrated. Pac loves to trade and put on a show, and has shown to take punches in order to land combinations of his own. For Pac, his best defense is his offense.

This urge bull**** is just that. If Floyd shared the same faith in himself that you guys have in him, he would have fought Pac the first time around.

Shut your non boxing ass up! All that just went over your head! Floyd has better foot work than Manny and believe it or not kid he is faster! The reason he is faster is bc of his timing! Its easy to handle hand speed opposed to foot speed! Now how about you tell me how Marquez out landed Manny even though Manny is faster? Tell me that! Never mind I will answer it for you! Its called timing!

again with the "stylistic nightmare" nonsense? all of this is moot unless Floyd finds some courage. it's also moot if he goes to jail for being a stylistic nightmare to baby mama.

Floyd really is a stylistic nightmare. The man is impossible to hit flush. There is no way to land flush on a man who's sitting behind bars.

It's a stylistic nightmare but the other way around. Floyd's style is mostly adapted to fighting rightys. Like the great Eddie Futch said, the left hand is the key to beating that kind of style, and who else can do that better than the fighter with the most dynamic left hand in the sport?

    - I'd actually root for Mayweather if he boxed Pacquiao.

    - But, he'd be hurt in this fight. Pacquiao would send him to hell and back.

this. I think this is a fight that Floyd is likely to win but he will have to pay a big price to do it and I don't think he's willing.
