Floyd the fighter and why he's a stylistic nightmare

No doubt Floyds a great boxer but PAC has proven to be a greater figher! Floyd does present problems for anyone but he's beatable. If I had to pick who would win between Floyd and PAC, if Floyd ever found his misplaced "coin pouch", I'd go with PAC all day long. PAC is a more versitile and dynamic figher. Floyd is a highly skilled and fluid boxer....but PAC is definitly more dangerous with a lot more weapons.

In the fight game, the more "guns" you bring to the ring with you the better your chances are of a win. Floyd understood that a long time ago and it's been re-affirmed after this weekend which is why PAC vs Floyd is never gonna happen. If it does...MAD PROPS to Money May. THat would mean he finally located his sack and manned the **** up.

I only have this to add, no doubt Pac has power but when you're fighting one of the best defensive fighters ever who happens to show he has a exceptional chin and you think of how Cotto a fighter with average defense at best went 11 1/2 rounds taking flush powershots, Oscar who was obviously no longer the Goldenboy took powershot after powershot for 8 rounds and didn't come close to going down, Clottey who although does have defense but he isn't effective with his offence with his style of defense,

He was able to stay up the duration of the fight and Margarito who has below average defense who got hit with every power punch even when Manny wasn't swinging survived to see the final bell, how then Pac comes in to KO an at least top 5 defensive master with a good chin, is not a very logical outcome for Manny.

But what are an array of weaponry without the aid of armor, i would take armor and some guns over no armor and many guns any day.

Well put. Manny's ONLY chance would be in rounds 1-3 and even then that chance is Kate Moss slim.

Naw they're much even at their best, with Zab as Clotteys best win you can't rate him to high.

PAC has armor! He's very skilled defensively it's just his "MO" is his relentless offensive pressure. PAC threw damn near 100 punches a round against a man almost 20 lbs bigger. Who also wasn't shy throwing back.

When you are throwing punches you are leaving yourself open....so getting hit is gonna happen but Marg only hit PAC Flush a handful of times....most were slightly off the mark or deflected by PAC's subtle defensive savvy. And the only flush shots landed were when PAC AGREED to go to the ropes and bang TOE TO TOE.

In boxing it's better to have more guns.......It's nice to have defense for sure but this ain't football where "DEFENSE" wins championships. Boxing has a lot more layers.

Margarito landed over 200 punches on Pacquiao and he's Top 5 slowest fighter I've ever seen. Floyd has guns. Sadly they're under-rated by so many.

No Clottey is better than Corley. Just look at their common opponents. Cotto got a gift vs Clottey, but he KO'd Corley. The same Zab that's Clottey's best win, beat Corley by decision. Clottey beat Zab up and made him quit.

Floyds style is overrated a slick boxer with good defense but lacks pop. Look down thru the ATG list and these fighters have more thing similar to Pacquiao than Floyd. FAct.

Defence has won Floyd 5 championships, and early on Manny couldn't get away from the jab of Margarito and the Pacquiao is "very skilled defensely" is absurd, he only uses offence for defence other than that he has no head movement and he just sits and covers up when he's put on defense and when his opponent is done punching he returns fire, now when you're fighting a man that is a plodder and known for being slow theres no suprise that he out punched Marg.

And subtle defense, those power shots that Tony were throwing weren't effective because he had to lunge at a retreating Pac and kept coming up short and eating punches, with no defence in boxing you're only as good as you're chin, look what happen to Tony with no defense.

Glad to see Clottey being useful to a Pac fans agenda for once. So if Cotto got a gift decision then it's safe to say the Cotto win for Pacquiao is overated?:think

Okay he may be somewhat better than Corley but he is not an elite fighter by far, look at his last performance, so i think comparing Corley to Clottey isn't an insult to Joshua.

Clottey was able to get a split decison out of Zab when he wasn't as shot
