Such a vague statement . Try elaborating ?:huhMaybe a source or two. As far as lacking pop you wouldn't find one opponent of his that would say he couldn't hit. It's not like he's Maliggnagi.

Maybe....but Pacquiao beat both Clottey and Cotto so it doesn't matter.

I don't know why we're discussing Corley. The only reason Floyd got hit was because he was trying to put on a show and make a big statement so he fought more offensively.Watch the fight and tell me if that's normal Mayweather.
You guys always point a finger and say "Hey Zab hit Floyd" well **** it's boxing. Floyd gets hit so little that everybody makes a bigass deal about it when it happens. How about I go talk about when Pacquiao got hit, or knock out. What about when he got knocked down by a damn jab

Ok hes got some pop but look at any top 10-15 list of atgs.. Any damn list. Look at all the fighters styles. Youll find something surprising, they have more in common with Pac than with Floyd.

Slick fighters like Floyd, they get put on a pedestal but in reality they dont rank that high. They would rank high in Fantasy matchups for sure because theres alot of peopel here whos into this "sweet science" stuff.

When they fight, youll find out why a brawler like Pacquiao can have success against Floyd, you ask yourself, why is this? Its because thats how its always been. Boxer-punchers aggressive stylist they rule the roost.

here comes the pac/jmm and fmj/jmm comparison again.. you have to remember jmm was on his comfortable weight when he faced pac while when he faced fmj, he climbed how many weight classes? (if fmj didnt cheat the weight then i could say marquez would have a chance, since you guys always say that cutting 2-3lbs takes something away from a fighter just like pac did to cotto)

Pac had to punch up when he fought these guys taking away his power. Lil Floyd will be a lower target and will have the full effect of Manny's power much like Hatton did. Old Mosley almost knocked him out Pac will knock him out. Rememer Pbf is only gonna take this fight if he is desperate for $.

Floyd has a lot more in common with Calderon and Guzman than that list of ATG's:deal

I respect Floyds style but this style is inferior in ralation to the history of the sport. Its Pacs style aggressive boxer puncher that rules

Classic argument to your case is Duran/SRL 1 by far. Leonard tried to go toe to toe and got beat. You watch the fight and immediately the commentators are asking WTF is SRL doing. He was standing right in front of the smaller brawler(Duran is technically under rated but you get my point).

SRL/Duran 2aka no mas is my argument.Be a moving target and use skills and it's a whole different story. I guess Pacquiao being a brawler coincides with the majority of fighters and ATG but theres some gems. Ali and Jack Johnson were defensive fighters. Willie Pep till Saddler got in that ass but still. My point is defense is overlooked and so is strategy since it takes more reserve and disipline IMO . Pacquiao is amazing but he's fighting fellow brawlers that are slower and not athletically gifted. Time to see how he does with "skill"and "speed". Not just "size" who stand and trade with him. Aren't you getting tired of Top Rank "bullfights"? I want to see Pacquiao against a fellow "Matador".
