"When you're in tip top condition, you can bounce back" A fighters punch resistance is directly related to conditioning..Hence why a guy like Berto gets hurt easily and never recovers.
What about somebody like James Toney, though? Morbidly obese now and just plain fat for most of his heavyweight run and still seems to have a head like cement.
Noticed them also. From sparring, you think? LeBron James has similar markings above his eyebrow ridges and on spots around his orbital bone.
Possibly but they look different from the other ones he's had in previous weeks, and there are a few in different spots. If you look close the inside of his eye looks slightly scraped. If he's getting tagged that consistently then this is something new. That is where a left hand would land. But it could mean nothing. Just looks a bit weird.
I think Floyd is finally....happy. He's doing interviews with Larry King, documentaries on CBS. He's finally achieved that crossover, superstar appeal that he's yearned for for so long. He has it in spades now. There isn't a need to act crazy anymore. It's just operation 30 months and then ride off into the sunset as a wealthy man. I'm happy for him.
This content is protected The sad thing is that Toney is consistently coming into fights ten pounds heavier than this now. He had a fight a couple years ago where he scaled in at 257. He's going to be having some real health problems as he gets older, on top of his obvious brain damage and declining cognitive abilities.
I can already hear the excuses, Floyd is past it, too old, jail messed up his mind and body, he was sick with a cold. Nobody is gonna know what they just saw. Just jaws dropped to the floor. Its gonna be a great fight.
