Hatton vs Pac would either be a snooze or a belter - you never see either of them in a **** fight, but they might serve up one between them.

They seem to genuinely like each other - not a good sign if you are looking for a Benn vs Eubank type of encounter.

I agree here that Mayweather is something a bit special but you cannot get by with natural talent and training alone, you need to want it, have the will and the fire. With already having two retirements, do you think Floyd really does still have that fire? Do you think he cares enough?

This isn't a statement, I have no idea.

Screw the promotional side of it, I'm a Hatton fan and love the guy to bits. Yes you are valid in that Hatton v Pacman would overheat the money making machine. But I'm on about skill levels here. Hatton has skills - yes, but Mayweathers skill-set is ludicrously high and after watching Pacman last night - Allahhuakbar. God dam.

    Infern0.

If Ricky had fought last night instead of Pac. What do you think the outcome would have been?

Of course, yeah, I'm not going to argue with that.

We do seem to be forgetting though that Mayweathers fights can be extremely tedious and I think he would play a chess match against Pac. That isn't my favourite fight, though I can totally appreciate why it may be someone elses.

Mayweather may not want to give Hatton the first shot at Pac. Of course now everyone thinks Pac is invincible, but he could very well lose to Hatton, although certainly not if he performs like he did against Oscar. But if Pac were to lose, that would suck the dollars right out of a Mayweather match. Smarter for Mayweather to take the first crack at him because a loss to Mayweather would set up a still lucrative fight against Hatton, who also lost to Mayweather, whereas a win against Mayweather would probably make every fight Pacman fights for the rest of his life a blockbuster. Mayweather is the best next opponent for Pacman, for all involved. Of course, if he does go after, and beats Hatton, all of this is moot. But if I'm Pretty Boy Floyd, I want to get in while I know the getting is hot, rather than risk Hatton stealing the spotlight. I don't think there is much demand for a Maywether/ Hatton rematch.

But what happens if Pac fights Hatton and Hatton wins??? Then you can forget about Floyd coming bak becuz he already beat Hatton.
