If Floyd wants to push this "People's Champion" persona, he's gonna have to stop embracing the "badguy" braggart role, but he can't; it's his preferred style when speaking publicly, even though he's a nice guy when the press isn't around in droves.

I can't picture his trash talk really doing much and getting a rise out of Pacquiao.

What's Manny gonna do? Hit him? Get mad? Pacquiao will smile at him and the camera and say "me train hard and do my job and knock him out".

Pacquiao SHOULD be considered the lineal champion if he beats Mayweather in my opinion. He's already first ever to hold the lineal title in 4 weight divisions, 5 would be insane.
