The winner of PAC vs Manny was scheduled to face Floyd. Floyd came back for the money and for recapturing his P4P title. He knew the PAC hype train was a bit too much for him to accept b/c he didn't feel Manny was that good to begin with. He wanted to make a dramatic return.....beat whoever was the TOP P4P guy in the sport, regain his crown and bounce after making anther $80 Mill to $90Mill.

Whoever won between PAC and Cotto would be seen as the top fighter in the sport given the Fact that Manny picked up that title with Floyd's retirement. That's what Floyd set up....remember he announced his return after PAC vs Cotto got made....

Floyd was HELLA confident in beating BOTH Miguel and Manny and I was too. Floyd is mad intelligent when it comes to himself and how to get the most out of whatever he does. He set the stage for his return and he pretty much too the spot light IMMEDIATELY from Manny....Manny Took it back with his win over Cotto and then look who has all the lime light right now??? Floyd Mayweather with his fight with Shane.

Floyd is smart but I think he out did himself with this one.

I agree with you. Ricky didn't do much that was great in his fight with Floyd but he was getting to the body a bit in some areas and Floyd for the most part couldn't do a lot early on based on the tatic Ricky implemented. He smothered Floyd and Floyd couldn't do much work and Ricky outworked him to win some rounds. Was he effective??? Yea....he outworked Floyd...enough to overshadow the precision work, but LIMITED work form Floyd...eventually the class began to show and Floyd began to control the distance more....but Ricky was creating the pace for the fight.

JMM did land a very good right that Floyd felt....Floyd smiled if I recall...which means he felt it. But JMM didn't win a single round. Floyd controlled EVERYTHING. Ricky won some rounds and he contolled if nothing else...he controled the pace.

You from MD???? PG County? I've seen Joppy round.....and mitchell....WAY Back in the day but that's awesome you got to spar with Joppy. He's actually a very good fighter...short of guys like Nard but he was definitly legit.

My bad! Floyd announce his return right before the PAC vs Hatton fight. Where he took the fight with JMM rather than to wait for the winner of Ricky vs PAC. Thanks for pulling my card.:good
