this is true, if you go back and look, some of his earlier interviews in miami for the SB he wouldnt answer any questions about pacquiao, but as time went on and that is what everyone kept asking he just wrote up a couple sentences on it so he could get it outta the way asap when asked about it

Can I ask a question? Why do you guys keep saying this is "unprecedented"? Do you really believe this is the first time a fighter asked another fighter for extra drug testing? Really?

Tyson-Holyfield - Holyfield blood tested and passed
    Leonard-Hagler
    Judah-Mosley

Does it just make you guys feel good to say it is "unprecedented"?

Holyfield never took any tests other than those stipulated by the governing boxing commission.

And his views on the matter are pretty clear.

    Fiction.

There were NO blood tests taken before or after this fight.

The daftest of your three examples.

Judah and Mosley have NEVER EVEN FOUGHT.

Does it just make you feel good to talk out of your ass ?

i know i keeping popping up in these thread talking about how this subject is ****ing stupid. but it amazes me how ppl claim floyd is ignorant and stupid...yet in the same breath agree that he is intelligent enough to orchestrate a huge plot that he agrees to an astronomical 10mil for every lbs he is over weight and then counter that offer with a blood test with varying cutt off days mind you. that he knew pac would refuse. come on pac ****ed up for whatever reason pride, hiding something, or bad advice. it reminds me of ppl who hate george bush and call him a stupid red neck but he orchestrated 911 and all these other dumb ass conspiracies.

First, Holyfield is a fighter not an authority on the subject of testing protocols. I respect the hell out of his fight analysis, but his opinions are of little weight on this subject. ALL authorities in the field of doping side with Mayweather. ALL of them.

Second, I never said all of the fights went through. My point was only that a fighter feeling that another fighter *may* be on steroids is not new. That ALONE makes accusations and/or testing requests PRECEDENTED.

Also none of these previous accusations resulted in bogus $75K lawsuits that we are no longer hearing about either.

And Floyd is correct to make the rules.

It should be up to the fighters as much as possible.

Nah, Bush was "a stupid red neck" and Cheney, Halliburton, and Earth's Sith Lord did the other stuff.

In 5 years time no-one will recognise any of Manny's big "wins" as legit.

    "What is a steroid?".

I was instructed to do so.

    By an inner voice.

And I'm quite certain that it was the voice of the supreme deity.

She had one or two other items she wanted me to fix for you as well (mostly lifestyle issues).

But, one thing at a time.

Oh yeah. That was a complete joke.

People are letting their love for Manny blind them on this issue. He agreed, became scared of needles, disagreed, agreed to limited arrangements, disagreed, lied, admitted he lied, and still canceled. Somehow FMJ foresaw all of that crap and agreed to EVERY demand Manny had?

Why box? The man is the second coming of Miss Cleo.

The point is, you cited him as an example of a fighter who took, and passed a blood test for Tyson, when, in fact, he didn't.

And as you cited him (wrongly) as an e.g. I felt we should hear what he (and most actual boxers) think about the issue.

    No.

Again, they don't. And even if they did, that counts for little as ALL PREVIOUS TESTING HAS been in accord with the boxing commissions.

And in this case, the Nevada SAC is firmly in Pac's corner.

(If Floyd wants to clean up the sport, let him take it up with them.)

    Requests are just fine.

Floyd has been allowed to make his request.

Actual tests of the kind Floyd demanded are unprecedented.
