Well thats your right to do so, but I dont agree and many other boxing fans wont either.

Go to a gym and ask any fighter what are the hardest lbs to lose if you are making weight EVERYONE will tell you that last 2/3 Lbs are seriously hard - unless you are Mayweather or Benard and walk around close to your fight weight.

Now do I think Cotto would have won at 147 definately not, did it maybe have some impact on how competitive the fight was, very possible. Maybe at 147 it wasnt such a dominant victory and we put it down as an average performance? So basically I consider that when I look back,

Also you are right Mayweather resume can be questioned too, I didnt like him coming over the agreed 144 vs Marquez either but my point is Pacquiao has ALOT more question marks over his resume than Floyd imo (loss to Morales, loss to Marquez, Catchweights, fighting slow come forward fighters etc ) but at the same time he has fought better names (Morales, Barrera & Cotto etc)

Like I said before it all depends on who and what you like, also Im a fan of Pacquiao too maybe not as big as you but I like him alot (just his stance of OSDT and how he lets Bob Arum manipulate him I dont like)

I think its obvious to most people given the opportunity to fight Floyd will not lose. The media love a Rocky story but 9/10 it isnt like that.

Manny can beat up on Margo's and Clotteys because they dont have his skill or speed.

He can beat Cotto because he is probably of a similar skill level but is way faster and more unpredictable.

JMM & Morales caused him fits, its no coincidence that they are probably his most skilled opponents. Now think about Floyd and what intangiables he has: Reach, best defense, best counter puncher, best timing it goes on.

I believe he will win and if he does it will drastically change how people view Pac

But I have been wrong before lol!

Talk to your promoter, wait- he does not have one - remember he is the boss - draw up a contract, send it to pacquiao.

But since he is the boss, why would arum talk to Schaefer again?

Twitting won't do ****! Send Schaefer to the Philippines with a contract. Even PAC sent koncz to gayweather for photo session according to dumbest *****s.

It's probably been said before I generally don't read through replies in threads these days as its pointless.

But Schaefer has already called to no avail. And Floyd has now publicly stated that Schaefer can deal on his part.

So very very disappointed in Arum and Pac, but so are 80% of boxing fans in general as of late (except the irrational Pac and Arum fans).

Scar - As usual - You are a welcome breath of fresh, common sense air among the putrid caps locked *****s.

    I utterly agree with you.

My fatigue for this fight is at an all time high, it should have happened two years ago, now its just getting ridiculous.

Pac and his team are looking like bitches running scared, they'll never get their rep back unless they take this fight

Uh huh - just like Floyd lost his rep when he denied the second negotation happened when he "didn't have an urge"???

For gods sake, Arum is NO better than this, and NO worse.

The general public has VERY short memory. Just as a lot of the **** Floyd did was forgotten, it would happen with Pac. Or anyone else.

The record will show 100% that Pac was the one to duck this fight if it doesn't happen May 5th. The date is locked in, both have their 50 million guarantees, everything is ready to go. I know I have been hard on Pac in the past, but ONLY because I'm a huge fan of boxing and I really want to see this fight. At the end of the day, I'm a fan of both fighters, and if Pac signs up for this fight and actually goes through with it, all sins will be forgiven. Win or lose, I will respect both fighters much more.

That being said, if what I think is gonna happen happens -- Arum says that the fight is a no go for May 5th because the stadium won't be ready in time -- then the ****ing hammer is coming down on Pac hard as **** and the media will not buy into that excuse, nor will the fans. Pac is between a rock and a hard place already, so he should just stop pussyfooting around and take the goddamn fight. Is 50 million not enough for this *****? It's enough for MONEY Mayweather for god's sake!

He has to talk to Scahfer or Haymond because thats who Mayweather wants to use for his side of negotiations.

Schafer has to go through Arum you dumb ****. Just like Koncz has no authority to do anything. You *******s lose brain sells at a alarming rate when your boy is ducking
