Whether we agree with it or not, I think Floyd would happily retire without having to face Pacquiao.

This article sounds like a 4th grade book report. Sad.

    its just Buisness

promote your fight by dropping names and controversial statements
to hype up your fight !

they do the same with movies and tv shows

    thats all

If he didn't bring up the Pac fight he would be asked non stop about fighting Pac so he's just being proactive. If you guys can't see that he wants the Pac fight then you're ignorant.

Fighting Ortiz is purely a tune up for Pac - the balls in Pac's court.

Gotta make up our minds if we want the fight and the hype that goes with it.

Floyd is a business man. Fully expected that if he wants to fight Pac and make a bazillion dollars that he is going to plant the seeds for the fight wherever he can.

Haha, is this supposed to be comedy?!

Bob Arum, Roach, Koncz rarely go 2 days without speaking to the media bout Floyd

Bob Arum spent most of the Mosely build up, claiming "Floyd had turned down $60 million"

You know, Mayweather maybe mentions Manny 5 times a year. Manny's people, bloggers, web sites, are talking none stop Mayweather 5 times a week

Let's be fair. If Manny was desperate for it, he'd have accepted Floyds offer - like Ortiz, Marquez and Mosely

It's what's known as "Pac porn"

Borderline illiterate idiots, who know nothing about boxing, can get gigs writing blogs, as long as they just write stuff for Asians to masterbuate over

floyd makes more per fight than pac now

    #2

floyd made more per fight than pac before pac was "known"

    #3

floyd will continue to make more per fight than pac while they both continue being relevant

    #4

1, 2 and 3 show that floyd doesn't need pac, and hasn't needed pac, to make huge paydays

    #5

who gives a **** how they promote their fights?

    #6

"I watched the “Star Power” Floyd Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz Los Angeles press conference on Ustream, and I laughed at the promo played before the fighters made their way down the red carpet, they really tried to make Floyd Mayweather out to be the only “Star” in boxing, I guess they must have forgot that Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is the true “Face” of the sport."

    Period mother ****er....learn IT!

2-5 Million USD which is like 95/5 for Floyd. Keep dreaming.
