No, it was on Televisa. They don't do PPV in Mexico.

LOL Canelo is a bigger draw than Mayweather!!!

Guerrero vs Mayweather Gate: $9.9 Million
Canelo vs Trout Gate : $15 Million
Canelo vs Mayweather Gate : $22.6 Million

LMAO Canelo is a bigger draw than Mayweather!! He is the future of boxing!!

no one is saying canelo isnt the future of boxing. but the future of boxing just got absolutely murdered and outclassed by a 36 year old man that wieghed 15 pounds less than him. And bigger draw? No. trout vs alvarez wasnt even ppv **** ****

I'm sure his next fight will do huge numbers on PPV and bring in an 8 figure gate. His fight against Trout did not do anywhere near $15MM at the gate

and Canelo was on the undercard on some of Mayweather's recent fights. and Mayweather usually schedules his fights during Mexican holiday. figures. and it always turns out to be more exciting than the actual main event. lol

Floyd cannot fill MGM with supporters. Mostly Canelo supporters turned out. It is telling you the whole picture. Americans don't like Floyd obviously otherwise they would fill MGM seats and chants "USA" would rip the night.

Actually I was at the MGM Grand September 14th on vacation and everyone I met was rooting for Canelo.
So much for the hometown Vegas crowd backing their hometown boy Floyd.

Floyd v Canelo was a huge moment in boxing and though it may not have been the best match ever its brilliant that boxing can still get such huge huge interest in a match all around the world
