Though I feel Mayweather won clearly, the fight was very entertaining, and a tough fight for both fighters. I feel Cotto deserves a rematch, not only because of his performance, but also because he was the champ. Anyone else feel the same? :thumbsup

Depends. If Mayweather is planning to fight 2 or 3 more times and Cotto gets a good win (say he beats Canelo) then yes, I'd pay to watch a Floyd-Cotto rematch. If floyd just wants one more fight before he retires then it has to be Pac or Sergio. If Floyd-Cotto rematch happens don't be surprised if Floyd elects to stay outside and pot-shots his way to a clean UD.

A rematch isn't necessary nor needed. The public will keep demanding a Pacquiao fight, a rematch will be blasted by the public/media if considered. Mayweather doesn't have enough options nor does he care to from the looks of it.

He's better off waiting for Martinez/Fraud Jr.'s result or just stay inactive, hell a fight with Khan will generate more attention/interest than a Cotto rematch. Of course if Fraud Jr. somehow gets a robbery over Martinez, Arum will not allow a Mayweather fight to happen.

Cotto never showed stamina problems in this fight, that's why he looked impressive in this fight than any other. If anything, Mayweather looked to be breathing heavy in the later rounds.

I wouldn't mind a rematch, but I don't think one is necessary, either. Cotto's stock rose in that loss...he needs to take that and run with it. Back to back losses will bring that stock back down.

I want to see Floyd fight other guys while he's 35. He doesn't have enough time left in his career to be fighting useless rematches

Was a great fight but Floyd won decisively. No need for a rematch. At this age Floyd needs to be adding more names to the resume not doubling on what he has beat already.

also reason i dont want to see Floyd vs Berto/Ortiz winner if Ortiz wins
