Paul Williams or Mosley would do it for me. Pinto and Quintana were never champs at the time.

wasnt to slow for Judah who showed he was on par with Floyd's speed. wasn't to slow Mosley either. I think it's more his Boxing IQ. Cotto block right hands with his face. looping right straight right uppy rights doesn't matter all of them get blocked with his face.

Cotto's defense is not impressive. He was eating a lot of rights from shane. Shane was never that smart in terms of boxing IQ. As for Judah, he got way too much flaws. Boxing IQ, Stamina issues, fades, mental strengh. Add on that 15 months laid off and two low blows when he actually landed hard shots. Cotto is smart but he got too many holes to beat floyd. For one his defense to floyd's accuracy. His plodding footwork may work against people who comes forward like Judah and Shane but it would not work against Floyd. On top of that Floyd can hurt Miguel. UD to possible stoppage.

I'm a Cotto fan, but Floyd would give him a boxing lesson.

Why duck this Cotto nobody? The fact that he ducked Cotto in '07 and continues to duck opponents speaks volumes. Fighting Cotto or Mosley would go some way towards ATGness

If Floyd Mayweather chose to stick to his retirement he'd be on his way to the HOF. If Miguel Cotto retired right now he'd be a what if. And Floyd wouldn't lose his 0 fighting Cotto, if anything Cotto would have a 2 if he got anywhere near Floyd.

Agree to some extent in the fact that Floyd should be fighting proper WW's for a change. He has been at that weight for a while and has fought any legit WW's IMO. Cotto is still one of the best at that weight, so it is a fight that should happen.

To be fair i believe down the line it will happen and IMO FM would win.
