WHERE WERE U WHEN FLOYD WANTED THE FIGHT IN 2004-2005????:nono KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT THAN POST!! GET FACTS RIGHT IF UR GONNA MAKE A THREAD SIR!:bbb
Floyd tko ...if zab can hurt cotto so can floyd..difference is floyd will finish his a$$ and zab didnt!!!
I don't think Floyd will go for the KO with a dangerous puncher like Cotto. I see him running around the ring jabbing and short combinations. The only way I see Cotto getting knocked out in this fight is if he gets too aggressive and leaves himself wide open for a counter shot ( like he does a lot). Floyd by decision
Cotto's ring intelligence is terrible. He only knows how to fight one way. He would be very easy for Floyd to unload on. I guess I wouldn't mind Floyd whipping his ass too though, just to shut more fools up. Anyway, I have my doubts that Cotto will get past Clottey. If he does, then I'm sure the fight will be a possibility in the next year.
All you idiots on here who say Mayweather would have an easy time with Cotto are speculating and not only that are pretty dumb. Cotto is a very talented fighter with a style that would cause Mayweather a lot of problems. I don't see Mayweather fighting Cotto or Mosley anytime soon. He doesn't have the courage.
Possibly Cotto could take most of the early rounds as Mayweather likes to feel out his opponent the first 2-3 rounds but I see a repeat of the Judah fight with Floyd picking up the pace and figuring out his style as the fight progresses. Cotto leaves himself wide open a lot for a guy like Mayweather to just sit back and slowly pick him apart and counter. Unless Cotto lands something big to hurt Mayweather, I can't see him winning this one
Floyd fights in a safety first manner, no way in hell he KO's Cotto. He might counter him and win a decision running away. If he did that against Baldomir who couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag, he is definitely doing that against Cotto. The question is does Cotto get to his body and slow him down than KO his cocky little ass? It's possible, but I don't see it happening. Why? Because Floyd will never fight Cotto.
Not really. PBF cherrypicks...Cotto was a young fighter struggling at 140 and had to move up- Arum wouldnt match them at 140. Since then Floyd has avoided him. Deep down you have to accept this:smoke
