Floyd ducked him and Morales also beat the hell out of Floyd in sparring. I could see Morales stopping Floyd late on.
LMFAO ducked him, Morales didn't want to fight Floyd. Floyd would have knocked him out in like 4 rounds.
Floyd by UD, or stoppage, depending on if Morales made him wear the pillow like Winning brand gloves or not.
Floyd ud. Even young floyd was able to stay very compossed and focused under pressure, i think hed beat morales tho every round would be competitive as hell.
Morales was kinda small no? I don't remember any talk of those 2 fighting. He wasn't a SFW until around 2004 when Floyd was a LW and near moving to welter. The real question is who would have won between LW Mosley and LW Floyd. Mosley was knocking opponents out on a prime Tyson like rate at LW. Floyd didn't move up to LW until about a year after Mosley left for welter. Floyd wouldn't have gone near Mosley at that time. Kid was lightning fast with crazy power at LW. Floyd was no pushover either but without question believe Mosley would have sparked him at LW.
Floyd by decision, Morales starts well but gets frustated as the fight goes on. Floyd won't be too aggressive and will win by comfortable decision.
I don't think Mosley beats Floyd at LW due to his lower boxing IQ and inability to adapt to his opponent. Shane was a beast at 135, and as you've admitted he was very fast and hard-hitting LW. But he sholud be happy to never meet Forrest or Wright type boxers at 135. Smartness, timing and ring IQ often beat speed and power, and these qualities were on the Floyd's side even then.
morales beat his ass up in sparring so bad Floyd got out the ring and never turned up for the next day......... Notice how Floyd was jumping for joy when Pac was putting on a beating on morales in second fight? he harboured bad feelings for eric because of the way eric beat his up in sparring
At their best Floyd was better than Morales. But I think that Morales might have gotten the better of Floyd and pulled an upset at different points in their lives, like Castillo did.
