It all depends how you make weight, if you take your time and gradually come down it's not such a big issue.

Golovkin has weighed in at 158 before, so it's 4lbs. In his own words "I'm not a big guy".

This fight isn't happening though, it will forever remain a fantasy fight.

If hes drained at 154 which I believe he would be, it'd be a good fight

    Hard to pick

If Golovkin isn't drained, then I'd definitely favor Golovkin

I think GGG is an awesome fighter and excellent at cutting off the ring (and I also dislike Mayweather) but I really feel like GGG would have serious trouble catching him the whole fight. When GGG doesn't respect people's power (which he won't against Floyd) he won't put on any defense and lose round after round on points to Floyd.

    Golovkin by murder.

And enough with this "lara is calling him out" bs. GGG going to 154 for Mayweather makes sense, he would make a career high payday and get the kind of exposure he could only dream of, justifying the torture of going below his weight class. Going down to 154 for Lara would do close to nothing for GGG's career aside from bragging rights to be the first man to knock out the runner.

Lara has said he'd move to 160 many times. GGG's people are taking the Monroe fight as a warm-up for a southpaw.

Not sure who thinks Floyd could take ggg, there is a reason for weight classes. The only reason to push for this fight is because you think ggg size and power beats floyd, its not his skill that beats him.

Stylistically, I think Floyd boxes the **** out of him. But given GGG's combination of talent, size, and power, he KO's Floyd. I'm curious as to whether Golovkin can truly make 154 and be healthy, if he can, I'm picking Golovkin.

People thought the same for Kovalev v Hopkin

GGG aint too far behind Rigo in terms of skills

Hes just never needed to show it

Against a fellow murderer like Froch, we'd probably see a Golovkin we've never seen before

Fight would be called off when Golovkin couldn't make weight.

Needs to happen at 160 for it add something great to his legacy. He's already been at 154. 160 would impress me.
