a prime martinez would have been a legitimate fight at 154lbs for floyd. golovkin not so much because i'm guessing he would be severely drained at that weight.

GGG loses at the weigh in while he tries to boil down to a weight that he hasn't been at in more than 12 years

If Floyd is given enough time to fill into 154, he'd beat GG's ass.

Wouldn't have made much difference there, but GGG looks a different class than Canelo.

Same opinion as most other posters: if GGG can handle the weight drain he obliterates Floyd.

Thing is, Golovkin likes to go to the body. Even if Floyd manages to dance and slip his way through the early rounds, by the latter half of the fight his movement will be slowed to a crawl from all the bodyshots. It's a nasty stylistic matchup for Money, but now add to it GGG's power and ring prowess ... sorry Floyd, there goes the 0. By late KO most likely.

Unless of course GGG clocks in as a cadaver at 154 in which case Floyd makes him look silly for a 12 round UD.

No win fight for Floyd really.
He either gets beat up by a guy who naturally weighs 20lbs more than him, or he wins and everyone says GGG was drained
