The lack of a 24 7/All Access series to promote this fight is a scandal, along with the other lacklustre promotional activities for this fight. No matter how big a fight seems, any economics or MBA student will tell you that it is best to market, promote, and distribute a product widely in order to sell it at an expanded output to obtain a significant gain. What this means is that you need to ensure that people are watching not by doing less of what you would for other fights, but by doing the same or more. The lack of promotion and high price will lead to either similar ppv sales as Mayweather v Canelo, or just a 100,000 more, but not much more. We'll see if I'm wrong.
it should also have been at a bigger venue to accommodate more boxing fans that want to see this fight. ...you can thank the a-side for this.
But.. but... bop arum only wants the stadium. We joyboys wants it in a small place so that tickets would be more expensive.
do you filipinos ever stop pmsing? I remember you were one of the guys saying Floyd will never fight Pac, but now that it's happening you're terrified, and in a bad mood because you know Pac is going to lose.
A scandal is wasting their time with promotions and not coming in at their best come fight night. If you would rather watch Floyd drive flashy cars and throw money around for 20 minutes, or listen to Manny speak about God instead enjoying a good fight than I don't know what to say.
your honestly going to just pick a snippet of what bob did in 2012 for months on end holding this fight up and are trying to defend it ? come on...NO SERIOUSLY COME ON..
Vegas over/under for PPV sales the week before it was announced were set at 3.15 M buys. So, you will probably be wrong. I'm not watching any of that promo stuff, or any training videos, or any of that garbage. Anyone who follows boxing like most on this site do will learn absolutely nothing new. We have 20 years of knowledge on both of them. I could care less about any promo other than a 2 minute hype video on youtube. Also, I think you need to look up definition of "scandal," perhaps...
So true. Watching any of the 24/7 episodes that involve Mayweather or Pacquiao are the same. Someone has actually posted a video on youtube, they've just put together clips from previous 24/7 episodes with both of them and it actually passes off pretty well haha. That should satisfy the fanboys for a little bit.
Why do you need to see Floyd on 24/7 again giving the same answers, talking in the third person or just plain avoiding questions? Reporter-So Floyd do you think your PFP number 1? Floyd-(30 second pause) 20 years, 20 years, Weve been dominating the sport of boxing,(30 second pause),Al Haymon.....Uncle Roger, Steven Espinosa......I have a great team......I made the right moves and invested......bla bla bla Lets hope no hype for the fight= a WAR come fight night.
