I doubt Floyd would even take the fight at 150.

EDIT: Oh, you mean fight night weight. Still don't see it happening though, since Sergio is much more dangerous a fight.

Why at 164 and not at 160 max ? He's the middleweight champ, no ? If this fight take place, it should be between 154 and 160.

We know how much Floyd loves rehydration clauses. But he wouldn't dare bite at this. He's like De La Hoya now at the end of his career, a part time fighter looking to pick off easy minimum risk paydays. Martinez would not qualify.

floyd just ko'd a 164 pound man. he has a legit chance on sergio and sergio has clearly called him out. the last time someone did that, jmm, hatton and shane, the fights were made smoothly.

there is no reason floyd should not take this. he said they only fight the best.

He's talking about fight night weights. Sergio normally goes up to 168, and I think Di Bella is promising Sergio will weigh no more than Victor did last night.

Are you serious? Boxers cut down to within that weight for the weigh-in, and rehydrate afterwards. Martinez has gotten as high as 173 at middleweight if I'm remembering right.

Can't see that happening, though it would definitely be something I would be interesting in seeing.

Martinez is my favorite fighter but this is getting ridiculous! He should just stop requesting a fight with Pac and/or Mayweather. They will never fight him! I read somewhere that Bute offer to fight him at 166lbs, if that is the case Martinez should try and push it to 164lbs and just fight Bute in the US! He is desperate for a retirement check but Mayweather and Pac will just not give it to him, so look somewhere else.

Sorry, I didn't read it was 164 on fight night. It makes way more sense now.

I think Floyd will take on Sergio, after Pacquiao, if Pacquiao ever actually gives in to all test demands.

Or tell Mayweather to cement his legacy forever by taking the biggest challenge of his life?

    Why not!
