They say 'styles make fights" and if Martinez and Floyd ever fought, that would be the biggest **** fight in years. With martinez gliding around with his hands down and Floyd throwing his usual 10-12 punches a round.... I get a headache just THINKING about it. One of the announcers said, Martinez offered to accept an 80-20 split for the fight. Is he THAT fked. up / desperate? There were about 4 interesting rds. in the fight tonight as Macklin was afraid to take any REAL chances. Wtfk do these guys want a title shot so badly, then put up a half-ass effort?

I think the fight would be intriguing due to the weight factor and Sergio's power. You are right it wouldn't be a high octane type of fight as neither men put very many combinations together and both counter punch but I would still like to see it! Also I prefer Mayweathers style of throwing 30 - 40 punches per round but landing 40% of them rather than someone who throws wild 100 punches per round but only lands 15% but thats just me. The only thing I would like from Mayweather is for him to drop some combinations, at times he could have against Shane but chose not too and I think if he goes back to Pretty Boy style a little more I would have no complaints.
Floyd can come out very aggressive.. Just like what he did to Gatti, and Ortiz.. Martinez can also do the same.. Like what he did against Williams..
