The esteemed "Professor I C Chins" from The University of Liechtenstein whose research in the field of chins ****ysis is without peer personally annoited it as iron one of the higerst honors a boxer can achieve.:deal The good professor verfied this and his expert findings are all that matters his research can't be refuted.:deal

Froch had a great chin. His KD's from Taylor and Groves were not about his lack of chin or their power. It was about what damage speed, timing and accuracy can do.

Froch had an awful defense and took many shots, a lot of them flush. Froch really did have the quintessential road tested chin.

Mayweather is a little difficult to judge. For me, a fighters chin is not just about taking one great shot. Floyd passes this test, for me, incidently. A fighter also needs to ability to be able to soak up many good shots over the long haul. Floyd never really had the chance to prove this as his defense was so good. This doesn't mean he couldn't do it, it just means he never had to prove it.

One thing in Floyd's favour though - fitness is a big part in taking prolonged punishment and Floyd had fitness to burn.

I'm not a Floyd fan, but the dude got cheen. (sorry Adamek :D)

I don't need to see it demonstrated 49 times.

Mosley caught him flush and wobbled his ass.

    He survived and prevailed.

    Chin.

Actually, no itsa was right. Pacquiao, Judah, Corley and Mosley all landed big shots on him and each time he held, recovered and in most cases still won the round in which he was caught. his chin Was pretty solid. You are right though, his defense made it so we can count on pretty much one hand the number of big flush shots he took in his whole career. Which is a testament to his defensive wizardry.
