Floyd vs. ATG's

Duran's style is to brawl. Why do you think he wants to get inside and pressure? Maybe ur interpretation is different. But just bc he knows how to slip and block punches DOES NOT MAKE HIM A BOXER. If you box you would know this. You guys think brawling is a bad thing. Like is a ****ing insult. Mike Tyson is considered a brawler but guess what you idiots. he can slip punches and hold a tight defense! WOW i mean is impossible for a brawler to learn and if he does slip/block punches he must be a boxer-puncher. Learn the style before you lead a bunch of pretend know it alls.

 

For those fools who wants to ride on people's **** just to stir some **** up. I know a hell of lot more about boxing then most people on this site. I'm one of the best handicaps on this site.

 

So why is skilled brawling no match for Floyd?

What makes you say that? Honestly? You've proven to know little about the history of the sport outside of Floyd, your vids show your lack of boxing skills period, and you clearly don't understand styles. So please, explain it to us.

 

And once more again for all you idiots. If Duran is going to be categories a style. Brawling is where he would be fall under. Just bc he have "fluid footwork or head movement" does not mean he is a boxer-puncher. Floyd is a boxer-puncher or counterpuncher. SRL is a boxer-puncher. Duran? A BRAWL YOU IDIOTS. You all should feel stupid.

 

Answer my question as to why that wouldn't work on Floyd then?

Anyone wants to question my boxing knowledge? Why? Bc I love boxing. Not just Floyd. I just so happen to find a site that have all his fight. And yes, if you want to know how to box then watch Floyd. Maybe you will learn something. He is the most complete boxer ever in terms of skills.

 

I make bets every week! Boxing is my passion. You know how I make bets? By studying their styles and record and analys the **** out of them. I practice it, I talk about it. I watch the hell of it. I've fought a lot more than you have (upwards of 45 amateur fights to be exact, losing 6). And I've sparred with quality fighters. Duane Thomas, Jimmy Paul, Dujuan Johnson, Brett Lally, Tony Petronelli, Fernando Fernandez, and Glenn Smith to name some.

There's quite a bit of posters who could confirm this. And hell, if you don't believe me, I will send you a PM tomorrow of a picture with myself and Marvin Hagler at the gym in Brockton where I trained for a little bit. All you need to do is ask.

And yes, the Kronk is extremely hot. If you started training overweight, it wasn't terribly difficult to burn it right off. Felt like Hell.

 

You are not on my bad side bc you are not offensive towards me. You make decent analyst on Castillo and Duran but ONE THING that you are dead wrong is that Duran is indeed a brawl. So basically what you try to correct me is WRONG. A brawl is a fighter who wants to bang and throws vicious shots first if given a choice. Prefer method to fight. BTW, being a boxer helps you analysis but your not fool proof.

 

Fair enough. You don't get on my bad side like some do (bigtime9, johnco), we just don't agree on a whole lot.

If you're not willing to change your views on Duran being a brawler, than at least we can settle for is that he was a brawler with immense skill.
