Floyd vs Baldomir or Pacquiao vs Clottey?

Take away that big cut Cotto suffered, the fight wouldn't of even been as close. Cotto was clearly outboxing him before he suffered that big gash from the headbutt.

 

At least Pacquiao tried to be entertaining vs Clottey. FMJ is my favorite fighter, but he bored me to tears fighting Baldomir. That was a miserable fight.

 

He hurt his hands in the Margarito fight and he couldn't step up the gas in the later rounds because Cotto wasn't staying right in front of him anymore in the middle of the ring like he did in the middle rounds and that's why Clottey was landing a lot of crisp shots on him. As soon as cotto got his feet and started boxing, making him use his legs, that's when things started to change.

Clottey was a better fighter than Baldomir
However, Baldomir was the lineal champ

Clottey gave Margo and Cotto a very tough fight. Baldomir is at least a level below Clottey in terms of ability.

 

Clottey is not an A- fighter, and Baldomir owns a win over Clottey.

 

We will never know. But Clottey was winning the 1st round before he walked into Cotto's jab won the 2nd and was winning the 3rd before the cut.

Clottey was robbed to make way for Cotto v Pacquiao.

 

Yet 50,000 people stayed for the whole fight and cheered on. Tiger woods left before Flod-Baldo was finished. And then Floyd cried because he was asked why the crowd thought he was boring.

He won the 2nd, but the 3rd he clearly got outworked, and he got outworked again in the 4th. As good as Clottey is, he's a poor mans version of Cotto, Cotto is more versatile and that's what made the difference.

 

Glad to see baldomir winning.
