Ortiz came in weighing a bunch too, I think he was 168 on fight night against Floyd, much good that did him.

Canelo has a good combination of size and skill. The only thing the size does for Canelo though vs Mayweather is help him absorb punches and help him with power. He doesn't have the size advantage where he is going to use a great jab and keep Mayweather in control at a distance.

So what happens when Mayweather has Canelo's timing and rhythm down while Canelo doesn't know whats coming from Mayweather. Because that's whats going to be the difference. Canelo having the brains to be in a chess match with Mayweather. Mayweather can take away Canelo's arsenal, can Canelo take away Mayweather's arsenal, can Canelo switch up his timing to stop being read by Mayweather. Can Canelo deal with being frustrated and constantly think and use his brain while Mayweather makes all his adjustments?

Or is the plan to land one or a few punches throughout the fight and hope Mayweather gets hurt.

if fighter is truly in their weight devision, he or she should be able to make the weight day of and perform to their max with no ill effects. If you have to drain and re-hydrate you're too big of the weight class or just plane cheating and using weight as a way to gain an advantage.

Roy Jones it taller then Tyson , does that mean Joy jones and mike tyson are the same size ?

a very stupid comparison that some idiots keep passing along as true logic. :patsch

You would seriously expect Floyd, a guy who started his career and 130 and is now a fully fledged 147 pounder to entertain a fight with Golovkin... really?

Lets not forget, even though floyd fought at 154, he never officially made the weight. Instead he weighed in at about 150, 151 or below both time he ventured into 154 devision. These guys are straight stupid next they will say Floyd is avoiding Lt heavies , and cruisers weights.

He knows for damn sure combinations wont be making it to the ring with Floyd... and adjustments yes Floyd can adjust I agree, but at the same time Canelo can switch gears as well....

This arsenal you speak of is nothing more than one shot at a time now and days... Canelo fights him the way he did Trout and Floyd winds up behind on the cards the first half and is forced to step it up and take risk..... and thats when Canelo catches his ass and knocks him out...:hi:
