Are you kidding? He got his face shredded and then resorted to NUMEROUS low blows to even the odds. Cotto has ZERO chance against Mayweather and has a face of tissue paper.

You won't get any arguments there from me. I love Zab and felt he won the first 3 rounds definitely, scored a KD, and should have gotten a 4th round.

How many rounds did you have Judah winning against Cotto? I can remember 2 at best. He hurt Cotto with a good left uppercut, but he never landed anything like that again. Cotto had him dominated for the rest of the fight and mauled him into submission.

Cotto has a very good chance at beating Floyd. He's got a good overall skillet, lots of experience, a great jab, and a style that he could impose onto Floyd. Cotto's problem has always been guys with great chins who can dish it back out, and Floyd doesn't fit that category. The last counterpuncher Cotto fought was judah, and Cotto destroyed him. He's bigger then Floyd, stronger, younger, and Floyd isn't that much faster ether due to his age. Who has Floyd even fought lately that's anywhere near as good as Cotto?

Look man, ZJ slows down considerably. If he was EVER troubled by Zab he will be shredded by Mayweather. FMJ can do everything Zab does better and sustain it the entire fight if not improve it.

I honestly feel that Ortiz would be more competitive. Cotto was pressured to a standstill by Mosley and losing momentum. Mayweather shut down Mosley's forward momentum. What exactly do you see as Cotto's key to victory? Coming forward? Boxing? Speed? Pressure? Durability? He literally has no answer in any category!

I would love to see the fight. Cotto has ZERO chance though.

Fighting Cotto is the dollar store version of DLH to Mayweather.

No. FMJ is no Mike Tyson.

Buster Douglas was always a hell of a fighter when he showed up. He showed up that fight. Didn't the next.

I'm just saying, there is always a chance, Even when no one gives you it as in Buster Douglas's case. 0% chance, I mean c'mon lets just be a little more realistic.

In any Boxing discussion there is a "Boxing Chance". That is assumed from the start. This is Boxing so anything *could* happen, but barring that? Cotto loses... badly.

Buster Douglas is a horrible example as anyone deep in the game knew that Buster was not to be messed with when he was focused. Not even evaluating where Mike's head was at the time.

All things considered, I do get your point.

Gatti is too overrated to be even compared to someone like Cotto.

Cotto beats mayweather i think mayweather have never faces a fighter like cotto he wayyy more skills then anybody on his resume he use his jab well fighter try and knock mayweather out with one punch and get frustrated ...ortiz,... cotto alil more patient besides after looking at mayweather vs ortiz he was missing alot punches everybody got amp off him throwin those right hands don't realize he misses more punches then he landed that's why he don't knock anybody out plus he dont have power and when he did he had to do it street style mayweather don't look them same to me he def want dominate him

It doesn't matter 150 or 154. Floyd will beat Cotto easily.

It will take about 20 seconds for Floyd to figure out Cotto's slow ass jab. Cotto is not near his level.
