Floyd vs Cotto 2... Has there been confirmed talks?

Cotto will probably going back and forward between Haymon / GB getting the best price.

 

Cotto isn't fully hooked with Arum nowadays like he was in 2011 and before.

 

The 40 million offer would only make sense as a long term deal with Haymon.

 

Gaby Penagaricano, Cotto's legal adviser has been swamped with phone calls regarding the widespread rumblings of Cotto being approached for a potential rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd.

Bob Arum said that reports of Al Haymon presenting a $40 million dollar offer to Cotto are laughable at best.

"That is just completely false," Penagaricano said.

 

40 mill seemed like a little much when I first heard the figure, even with Cotto's fan base and with the lineal MW title on the line.
