Who wins the big fight and in what fashion?

I'm thinking Mayweather UD and Cotto leaving the ring with a busted face :deal

My Brain agrees with you Stiffy

My heart hopes for a surprise KO for Cotto

In the support bout I think Shane has a chance in the first 4 rounds. If it goes past that then probably a late and sad stoppage for the ranga

something tells me there will be a robbery and the jail time floyd is getting will just be a metaphor.it goes to the cards and cotto will lose but in the eyes of the public he won the fight.

With some of the worst descisions and scores in 2012 already, a robbery wouldn't suprised me doc.

And I agree duke, would love to see a Cotto win and shake up the boxing world :good

i think floyd makes cotto look like an amateur.

cotto had zero answer to pacman and pacman used no defence virtually. how can miguel beat the slick floyd?

and after such a beating by pacman i think it will take its toll if cotto gets tagged at will.

be happy for miguel to prove me wrong though. imagine the crush on floyds ego if he were to get beat by a dude manny bashed silly.

Floyd's another level. Diaz will be throwing the pink towel in around rnds 7 or 8.

I think Floyd will handle this pretty easily. However, Floyd doesn't fight in the relentless manner Pacman does. I think Cotto will come across a lot better than he did against Pac.

Cotto should have a lot more to offer than anyone Floyd has faced since DLH. So in a way it is an unknown.

The 'Canelo' Alvarez v 'Sugar' Shane Mosley bout seems to be traveling under the radar with all the attention on the Mayweather v Cotto main event.

There's plenty to make it an interesting match-up, not the least being the huge gap in ages between the 21 year old Canelo and the 40 year old Mosley.

I think there's almost as much to like about this fight as the main event :good

Mayweather wins an easy decision and all the casual fans around the world hoping Mayweather gets sparked end up walking away disappointed from another fight that seems 'boring' to them.

Heh, hate to sound cynical but if Mayweather's proven anything, it's that he knows how to take guys like Cotto to the cleaners in 12 rounds :p

I put a sneaky bet on a dq for either fighter though. Dunno, I smell controversy...

DQ might be where the value is

    Am sitting on the fence.

If the new Cotto (who fought Margarito II) comes out, 95% MAyweather cruises to an UD, nobody at this stage outboxes M.

If Cotto comes out strong, still using his serviceable jab, AND miraculously (hope against hope) rediscovers his aggression and body attack, it could be interesting...for the first few rounds before M re-adjusts.

So meh, basically a shut-out to M...if they had fought a few years ago at welterweight before M 'retired' to avoid Cotto and Marg, I'd given Cotto a better than average chance.

I won't even dare hope to see a puncher's chance KD for Cotto but I do hope he retaliates with a patented Cotto low-blow for M's equally patented muay thai elbows.

If Cotto relentlessly cuts off the ring and systemically beats M down, I'll be in Gatti heaven.

    Voted M UD.
