Floyd vs Devon Alexander...maybe?

    Floyd is in many people eyes the best fighter p4p. Alexander is the WBC number #1 contender. Also this fight would be just as huge in St Louis as anywhere and I think may do a million buys. Do you like this potential match-up?

    Does it really need a poll?

    Alexander got gifts against both Kotelnik and Matthysse, how the hell can he beat Floyd one weight class higher than the one where he got out roughed by Bradley?

    I still think Alexander is a good fighter. I like the way he bounced back after getting knocked down.

    Alexander signed with GBP earlier this summer. Yet people here didn't realize that. I've been saying all along, Floyd Alexander was/is going to happen.

    Alexander has lost 3 fights in a row. Alexander is just a basic fighter, easy fight for Floyd and a fight that doesn't need to happen. If Mayweather-Ortiz did 1.15 mil, no way Mayweather-Alexander gets close to a million. It'd be lucky to get 200 K.

    They will probably try to get Devon a fight with Ortiz or Berto(for the belt) then feed him to Floyd as a decent name.

    if this fight happens now floyd will destroy him and im sure everyone knows that. if devon wants nething to do with floyd he better get a couple fights under his belt at 147. even then he will still get his ass beat

    St Louis is a huge fight city hell it sold out the 25,000 stadium in Cory Spinks fights as well as Devon.

    1. The only reason you thought of this match-up is because Devon's a southpaw.

    2. The fight is worth ****ing zilch. Why would you want to see it? Honestly. He got BEATEN by Kotelnik, Bradley and Matthysse.

    3. Why the **** would you care what it generates? Do you get a piece of the pie?

    No logic here whatsoever.

    if floyd took this fight i would lose a lot of respect for him. alexander is a C+ B- fighter.

    Fight never happens. hell Mayweather was rumored to be trying to sign Alexander for Mayweather promotions.
