Hagler fights a young LHW version of Floyd Patterson.

I agree. Floyd too big,and fast for Marvin. Hagler's cast iron chops enables him to last the distance,maybe....?

See. You have to go to the extent of matching Floyd up with middleweights to get him to win a damn H2H fantasy match-up around here, with any kind of strength, I swear.

Old Commander 'Vander won VS PRIME Tyson, who have same style as lil Floyd Patty - BUT v.much better Power, Strength, Cheen, Toughness - it a FACT.

Patterson was a better boxer than Tyson as shown by his ability to go back, something Tyson never did well. Tyson did have better endurance and more power over Patterson. Their styles are very similar but Floyd also was a better inside fighter. Holyfield may hurt Patterson but he doesn't have enough power to flat out destroy Patterson like Liston did and Foreman would have done. Bonavena had good power and Patterson beat him plus he went the decision twice against another hard hitter in Quarry so I don't see how he wouldn't have a chance against Holyfield who most likely had less power than they did. Also, Patterson in his late 20's-30's was better conditioned than PAST-prime Tyson of the late 90's who had crap stamina then. Patterson in bad condition still went 12 rounds in the first fight with Ali who stunned Foreman & Frazier so Ali had good power too. Big punchers gave Patterson problems and Holyfield wasn't that. Smart boxer-types are what troubled Tyson.

We never saw what Hagler would look like at 175 lbs, nor how he would manage there.. In addition, Floyd Patterson's stay in that division was brief, and most of his professional experience wouldn't come until later... In fact, I think his last fight at 175 lbs happened when he was around 19-20 years old. This is about as far fetched of a meeting as one could put together, and i really don't see anyway of producing an outcome..

IF the fight did happen, Floyd wins a UD over Hagler.

The 19 or 20 year old Patterson would have his hands full against a prime Hagler who was no old Archie Moore ... it is a very interesting fight .. the Hagler that crushed Minter might have easily turned the trick on Patterson at that age ...
