    too bad floyd lied about how it would be a good fight and how floyd would come after him :lol:

    Thats why it was so succesful, and what does floyd do? **** on the fans

    yet floyd boys still lap it up :hey

    Floyd vs. JMM, considered one of the worst TV fights of 2009

    - crap matchup at 144 (146) catchweight to begin with

    - it easily conned a lot of people with its marketing ploy

    - f*cked up weigh-in

    - after the fight, many fans felt being duped out of money

    - the fight only thrilled 69 joyboys :-D out of the million people who ordered

    If you're stupid enough to drop 50 bucks on a fight based on one of the fighters saying that he's going to do this and that and the other to his opponent in interviews then you probably deserve to lose 50 bucks. Shockingly, car salesmen and politicians are also not always honest. WHO KNEW!?

    i watched the fight with a bunch of casual fans and despite the lack of action we all enjoyed it. it wasnt as bad as haye-valuev for example.

    You're right, Floyd-JMM is only #14 worst while Haye-Valuev is #5 in this worst TV fights list. But just the same, they're both worst fights.

    Klitschko haters said that Vitali should retire after beating Johnson every round. Void fans claim Void is the best after going 12 very boring rounds with a smaller fighter. Double standard.

    :lol: at anyone who assumed this is a Floyd hate thread. How paranoid and defensive! :|:|:|

    If anything, this is a Golden Boy Promotions / Richard Schaeffer / De La Hoya hate thread for hyping up and selling this mismatch to the public. Looks like they succeeded though with the high PPV buys. They can all go to hell.

    This fight/sideshow/GBP was ranked #3 lowest points for boxing for 2009 by some boxing insider poll. Only Margacheato (#1) and the WBA (#2) were more shameful.
