Why was this fight so easy to make? There was speculation that it would not be made because Floyd...."doesn't take challenges" "is a coward" and other so called reasons that bled over from the Manny situation. Here were are, though, superfight in September put together in less than a month of Floyd's last fight. Yet, it took years of negotiating the Floyd and Manny fight to no avail. All three of these fighters have egos and a following. Do you think that Arum was the sole reason for the fight not occurring when it should of in light of this fight coming to fruition?

Too much money to share, so promoters wouldn't work together. I'm sure Floyd is paying Canelo less than he paid Cotto. Pac is an established PPV star.

An established PPV who wasn't getting nearly the guaranteed money that Floyd was getting, though.

Agreed. But he does take home 20+ million a fight and headlines his own shows. This is the coming out party of Canelo. He had to take whatever he was given.

Bob Arum and Team Pacquiao never wanted the fight. Clear as day, and I've been saying this since they signed that fight contract with Clottey.

They passed up making the biggest fight in over a decade, to match Pacquiao up with a guy coming off a loss. Meanwhile, everybody who is not with Top Rank doesn't seem to have an issue negotiating with Team Mayweather.

It was always Bob Arum and company preventing the fight. Always. With recent events, let's just say it's no longer even debatable.

Of course Arum was the reason. How much more proof is needed? May of 2012 was the last ditch effort. However, Arum said they couldn't fight in May because he wanted to build a stadium, and then said the fight had to be in June even though Mayweather was going to be in jail. It doesn't get more blatant than that.

It was clearly Arum. Excuses on cut's not being healed, Mayweather getting jail sentence pushed back because Arum said he didn't think he'd be available, building a new stadium somewhere in Vegas nobody knows about.. It's clear.

Two reasons one Bob Arum second Team Pac knew PBF was a bad matchup for them so they made up every excuse in the book as to why they couldn't test. PBF isn't that hard to negoatiate with. You leave Arum and the fight gets made. You fight for GBP the fight gets made. Arum and Pac are the reason why this fight didn't happen.

Exactly and it couldn't be anymore clear. I have no idea how people have let Pac skate on this ****? Pac refusing testing and pulling out and going on to fight Clottey, a guy coming off a loss, is all the proof you need to see who ducked who. Now you have Pac agreeing to take the same test that he turned down to fight PBF he will take for Rios years later and it's cemented as to who stopped the fight from happening.

Floyd took the fight because its gonna be easy work, come on. Unless Floyd really becomes washed up before then he is going to beat this kid easily
