Many people does know this, but in his last two fights pacquiao has a new conditioning coach, and in his fight with oscar, pac did some polymetrics for the first time. It can't be denied that as a fighter pacman is improving, pacman's movement in his previous fights against a lesser opponent is far cry compare to his fight with oscar. Also it's been stated by pacquiao that at 130 he is weight drained hence he moves up in weight. In the oscar fight, floyd allows himself to be pinned on the ropes, while pacquiao does not. If you will look at Oscar's hand speed, it's fast if it has a target to land those punches, the problem is pacman did not give oscar much target.
I hope he isn't. Thats why i want him to take a tuneup before Pac fights him. I don't want excuses (although i know its inevitable) if Pac beats him.
Fighting a completetly different fighter in a different weight class? As one poster said, did Hatton make Floyd look bad by knocking out Castillo. Thats how silly hype starts and people get their ass kicked for it. Fighter A beats fighter B better then fighter C did. Its a recipe for fight prediction disaster. Well maybe if you would have mentioned it instead of mentioning the Oscar fight. Marquez seems the most logical choice considering that Marquez like Floyd is a counter puncher, who Pacman struggled with massively and only one because of KD's in the early rounds. Pac gonna knock down Floyd too lol? Floyd at 140 and below threw combinations just as well as any fighter ever. And has shown against Hatton can still throw a devastating 6 punch combo when he has the opportunity. And i'd most certainly put a prime Castillo and Corrales in league with Marquez. Oscar was past it when he fought floyd. He could still atleast pull the trigger and didnt look like dead weight as soon as the fight started. also the fight with Floyd is closing on 2 years coming May. That means the fight was nearly a year and a half ago. Not a year.
thats the thing, you dont have to worry about Pac beating him, only thing you gotta worry about is how Pac will lose
Floyd stays in excellent shape all the time. He was rumored to be in training even before the Pac/Oscar fight. He stays at a consistent wieght of 147. Floyd is like Hopkins, took minimal damage throughout his career and realies on technique rather then pure athleticism like someone like Pea or Roy Jones. Dont worry though, Floyd could take Pac on his worst night. There is a reason why those who saw Floyd at 130 believe he is the best ever and not Pac-man.
