Let's say that most of our prayers don't get answred and we don't get Manny vs Floyd which in reality it seems that we are going into that direction. Miguel on the other hands gets his revenge and beats the crap out of Margo for cheating in their fight (there's no evidence but obviously it's in Miguel's head plus I think that most of us are praying for that anyway). Why are people not asking for a possibility of this fight with Floyd?

Everyone's talking about Kahn, Bradley & Martinez as possible opponents. We all know that Martinez is too big and Floyd won't fight him or at least that's what Floyd Sr says. To me, Bradley and Kahn should fight each other first and then try to get a crack at PAC or Floyd but definitely they should fight first.

My case of Floyd vs Miguel.

I know that Miguel is not the same after his first loss, let's not even talk about e second one. However, if he beats Margo convincingly, I hope he watched Sugar Shane vs Margo, he will definitely have a momentum in his side and a huge ****** off his mind.

miguel is still elite there's no denying on that.

From what I understand Floyd's camp have huge respect for him and if by the close dates, we were all excited about Floyd vs Ortiz, how come you wouldn't like this one?

I think that Floyd will definitely win this one but for an immediate fight on May I wouldn't mind seeing this fight much more than the other ones being talked about. What do you think?

I have a tough time seeing Floyd and any Top Rank fighter in the ring except maybe Manny.

If Cotto was a GBP fighter, him and floyd would have already fought.

Bob Arum is a dick. Mosley and JMM had to dump GBP and sign with top rank just to get the pacquaio fight. And mosley was big in GBP

I mean think about it, Mosley has all of the top contacts in GBP on speed dial, surely they could all just get together and make the fight but there was no way arum was letting the fight happen with GBP representing mosley... its so stupid but its the way he does business.

yeah he was lucky to get the win against clottey and that was like what 2 years ago. Then he got battered by Pac, hes up at 154 now, will take some shots from margo regardless if he wins or looses. Hes well past his best at this point.

You got to be joking right? Since when being inactive has necessarily taken you away from being elite in their level? Floyd fought 16 months between SSM and Ortiz and he was still perceived as an elite fighter.

The last fight Miguel had was with Mayorga, definitely past his
Prime but before him it was against Foreman who was the champ and at the time undefeated. What else do you want?

I am not saying that Cotto is in his prime, that we all agreed that he is definitely in decline but he is still an elite fighter.

Unless Cotto shows a kind of rebirth against Margarito, I'd be hesitant to get behind it since I love Miguel and his shot at Mayweather should have been right after Mosley prior to Floyd's "retirement".

Nothing would satisfy me more, however, to see Marquez derail Pacquiao and Cotto upset Mayweather in the same year.

SSM (HOF lock) and Ortiz > YURI FOREMAN (never beat anyone of note) and Mayorga

I agree with this, and though I think Cotto is damaged goods, he is still better than all the other active fighters in Mayweather's vicinity. Other than Mayweather, Pac, and Marquez everyone else in those weight classes are several notches of skill level below. I think Marquez is too small for May, as seen in their first fight, and Pac may present some difficulties, but he probably isnt skilled enough either. Besides the impracticality of negotiations there arent too many competitive fights out there.

Not going to happen due to reasons already stated. I don't now how much I would want to see it either. Cotto looked pretty bad against Mayorga, coming from a Cotto fan. Looked like a fraction of the fighter he was on his way up and in 2007/2008.

I think you got it twisted... Prime and elite are two different things. Again, I am not saying Cotto is in his prime but he is still elite as in marketing value of what an elite fighter he is but in the decline of his prime but still not a shot fighter.

Anyway, in the neighborhood of were Floyd walks, Cotto is in the right spot as a competitive fight. Besides the Arum arguments which I agree with, I hope this fight happens.

Top Rank will not let this fight happen and if they did Mayweather might kill cotto in the rinig. There s a reason Cotto doesnt call out Mayweather he is scared and knows what the result would be
