Idk if its just me or what but when Mayweather fought Mosley it was almost a 50/50 fight among casuals and people on this forum with a lot of people saying Mosley would win. But now that hes going to fight Pacquiao everyone is saying he has no chance when he is the #2 p4p and the only other top 50 ATG in this generation and that Mayweather is cherrypicking this fight. why is that?:huh

Floyd was a big fav vs Mosley , similarly here. People still got Marquez KO in their minds for this fight.

I know for the bookies Mayweather was a sure win. but people on this forum had a mayweather KO and a lot of casual fans thought of it as a very close fight.

When Floyd fought Mosley, Mosley was coming off a dominant TKO win over Margarito. He hadn't looked better, and people thought it would be a good match up.

When Pacquiao fought Mosley, Mosley hadn't won in 2 fights and was clearly on the slide. See the difference :deal

The reason people pick Floyd is because JMM, gave Pacquiao problems for 4 fights. JMM is a technical counterpuncher, Floyd is leaps and bounds better then JMM and proved it in their fight. So one would think Floyd would dominat Pacquiao.

The cycle for all Mayweather opponents. Rinse and repeat. This one is no different.

It the same as saying pacs going ko Floyd. Pacquiao hasn't had a ko in 8 years, vs Floyd who hasn't ever legitimately been down by a punch. This will be a 12 round fight, I see it going like this Floyd doing what he does for 12 rounds with Pacquiao hitting air all night. I believe Pacquiao is fast enough to catch Floyd, and Floyd has slowed down his last two fights. I don't see a ko coming from anyone, we could see some crazy score cards though.

The only way I could see a KO coming, is if Manny does something stupid. Like in the last JMM fight. But I don't think Floyd is fast enough anymore to pull off any real sick ****. Like he did to finish off Hatton.

I think Floyd will have some trouble during the first 4 rounds. But once he gets Manny's timing down, it's all but over.

Floyd sure can play the heel well. He plays it well enough to make gullible idiots look for any reason to think he will lose.
