My view is that this would be one sided fight.

Ortiz is better then Gatti who was "only" a warrior but his skills were average. He got schooled by Floyd.I believe that Floyd would do the same, maybe less harmful to Victor.Ortiz is better then Gatti, but Floyds skills are above Victors level.

    It will end wide UD

    Your thoughs?

Ortiz' skills are average too. His defense is porous and he squares up all the time.

Gatti's skills are average but his heart is not.

Gatti fought most of his career at lower weights and had slower hands. Ortiz is naturally a bigger guy and has better hand speed. Plus, Floyd is older now.

I love Gatti, but that fight was a bigger mismatch from a physical standpoint than Floyd vs. JMM. But Gatti had a huge fanbase and was used to bolster Floyd's first PPV.

i just watched that fight like 5 mins ago. the fight want be that one - sided dawg. victor is better then gatti in every single way, shape, form or fashion.
i watched ortiz vs nate campbell and ortiz vs lamon peterson. ortiz used his jab im the campbell fight. i think the fight should be like a hatton / castillo 1 mixed.with floyd the victor by ud, but i see mayweather fighting more in this fight. he gone have to.

r.i.p thunder gatti i hope they get ****s that murdered you.

This is so true and I see Ortiz walking onto a straight right hand and being put on his ass

I actually think Gatti's skills showed he was a bit above average in that fight. Sure, he got the one-sided beating of a lifetime, but he was setting up shots and jabbing and slipping punches in a way I've never seen Ortiz do it. Ortiz has certain things going for him, but any gap in fundamental soundness isn't too far apart either way you view it.
