The worst thing Shane Mosley did against Floyd Mayweather, was hurt him and catch him with a punch...........but not being able to capitilize on it and finish Mayweather.

This deeply insulted Mayweather, and Shane Mosley was in for a beating from that point onwards. Shane Mosley did'nt stop punching, he was just getting the **** beat out of him.....

And Shane Mosley was hurt..! Mayweather hurt Mosley more than Cotto did..!!!

this is a truly terrible thread

floyd beat a faded oscar but he still beat him
manny beat a shot and weight drained oscar

floyd got hit hard and i mean hard vs mosley but he stopped the attack dead in its tracks by grabbing and smothering his work and was back on the attack by the end of the round
manny beat a still game but sorta broken man is cotto , but i see cotto winning a close one pre margarito too so its no harm

My only advice to you is please do yourself a favor and DO NOT bet any money if this fight happens. You'll probably lose it.

OK because you can't read. The whole point is that from those fights with JMM and other losses he has improved every facet of his game.
I was talking about his last 5 fights. Did he fight JMM in his last 5 ?
Just accept that Floyd can never beat the likes of Manny and would get knocked out vs. Shane, Tszu in their prime.

If they fight which it will never happen because Floyd's chin could not hold up I will make the largest bet I ever made in my life on Manny by KO.

Best prophet for the future is the past.
These were some of the best fighters during Floyd's career and all offered an exciting matchup for the sport. How many did Floyd fight?

    Cotto
    Casamayor
    Margarito
    Manny
    Tszu

Once again Floyd had to wait for the perfect scenario with everything in his favor to fight. That is why so many people believe either Floyd is ducking Manny or will get KO'ed.

Shane fight should have happened ten years before. He was off an 18 month layoff came in the ring tired and still took Floyd to a place he has never been. That would never have happened if PBF faced the higher caliber of fighter he ducked throughout his whole career. Floyd has stayed right under that level of dangerous opponents. Mosley De La Hoya both near retirement. He has never beaten a top level threat in the prime.
Too many names, the numbers don't lie. The record tells the story of how his fights are chosen. No top threats. If they are a top threat wait till they are almost retired so they fall right below that category.

    Cotto
    Casamayor
    Margarito
    Manny
    Tszu

I agree the fight should of happened year's ago. Right, if that fight had of happened 10 year's ago, i don't think Shane would of landed that punch what hurt Floyd. If 10 year ago they fought Shane would of came into the fight with a whole new approach, tried to outbox Floyd more, etc. When they did fight, Shane new the only hope he had was coming in and landing a huge shot, and hoping Floyd folded, he nearly did... but did'nt. So in my opinion, all this bull**** about "Mosley would of finished him off 10 year's ago" is bull****, yes maybe he would of, but 10 year ago, Shane would'nt of come looking for the KO like he did

10 years ago Mayweather was a Super Featherweight and Mosley was a Welterweight.

Tsyzu had already quit against Hatton before Mayweather had won a title at 140 so how much credit would he get for fighting him then?

Casamayor and Mayweather were only at the same weight briefly and Floyd had already beaten the best at SFW and LW who both beat Casa so what would you expect him to do against Floyd?

The only fight he should have taken which he didn't was Cotto, I wouldn't rule that fight out before Mayweather retires either.
