    Nothing More & Nothing Less...

Floyd Could Abuse pacman & pacman's legacy is still better than floyd's
    and
Pacman doesnt really need Floyd to make his reign look any better

this fight is purely about who beats who....

not about the #1 fighter of the past 10 years.. cause pacquiao currently owns that and a floyd loss wont change that

not about atg placing.... pacman will still be higher

only way floyd can get in the mix is if he fights someone at 160 for a belt.... pavlik/williams..

I couldn't dissagree more. These are the two best fighters in the sport. People can say what they want, but whoever wins this fight will boost their legacy tremendously.

    no

    no...

if floyd wins everyone will just say he finally ran into someone to good for him... and that he was small... so it wont do much for floyd

    and

if pacman wins at this point he's already golden... 7 weight classes... NO ONE EVER DID IT!... he's proven

Say whatever you want. If Floyd beats Pac 10,20 years from now all anyone will remember is who won. It will be hard to argue that Pac is greater than Floyd if he loses to Floyd. It will also be hard to argue that Pac was too small considering Floyd would be challenging Pac for his WW title. Some people will always try to come up with excuses. Many of the excuses don't hold much weight in the end.

Pac should get the lion share of the purse because the guy clearly has a bigger fan base and has produced more exciting fights over the past decade.

I don't agree with that at all. Pac is really hot right now and is clearly a ATG fighter. With that being said Pac being hot now does not erase PBF being a Pound 4 pound ranked fighter for over a decade and number 1 until he meaning PBF went on vacation. PBF has been in with good fighters and has made it look easy except the first fight with Castillo.

It doesn't erase Pac being KO twice even if it was a long time ago and Pac has improved as a fighter. A past his time Morales did beat Pac by UD just 5 years ago. As good as Pac is it doesn't erase the Marquez fights. People have proven to be on Pac's level no one can say they are on PBF level.

Before PBF retired nobody and I mean nobody put Pac on PBF level and as great as Pac is he is still not on the level of PBF who out classes not some but all his opponents. Legacy still goes to PBF in my opinion because has been dominant for so damn long. Pac just started doing what PBF has been doing for a long time.

Can't wait to see PBF vs Pac though it's going to be great but make no mistake about it PBF is going to be the favorite for a reason.

I agree with this 100%. It's like when Ali came back anyway. Pac is ranked even though he is not the pound 4 pound number 1 only cause PBF walked away it was never earned on what he did in the ring with PBF still around. It can't be given to you it has to be taken and earned.

agreed, except its easy to outclass the majority of your opponents when they are not considered real threats. pacquiao has clearly fought the tougher opposition, and hence is more likely to cop a few losses or controversial decisions.

I agree with some of what you're saying. If Pac wins he will have beat an undefeated great fighter former p4p King that he was still outsized by. I definitely think it improves on Pacs already amazing legacy. Floyd would be boosted by a win, but he would still hear the undersized thing, he can fight Mosley and get the same or more respect. Yea he would need to beat a Pav or Williams at 160 then maybe even the Super Six winner to get on Pac's level.

A win for Floyd won't rank him above Pac. Hagler, Hearns, and Leonard all beat Duran but fall behind on an ATG list.

I am confused on how Pac if he loses to Mayweather would still be ranked above PBF. Pac's last 3 title fights were against Cotto who got his belt from Jennings a bum and Hatton who was on the slide but was linear champ so this was a good win to get the linear title and David Diaz at 135 who was a bum. Not hating cause the Cotto fight was a great achievement but Hatton and Diaz are not exactly world beaters. If Pac beat PBF his legend would go through the roof cause it's PBF one of the best fighters of all time, a undefeated legend. PBF is like Kobe, people hate because he is so great you only compare him to legends like Kobe to Jordan instead of just appreciating how great he is. PBF has had this kind of talk to since day 1 of his professional career, Pac has just started recently to mentioned in his class and now he is already higher just stop it that's crazy.

:patsch An excuse you could clearly see the difference in last nights fight. Just because a fighter defies any laws of science and throws the size matters thing out the window doesn't mean it's not there. Floyd will have to do alot more than beat Pac to be on his level. You know that, don't be naive or objective. If Floyd fought Abraham at 168 I wouldn't rank AA ahead of him, or Pavlik at 160, or even Williams at 154.
