i saw that you mentioned larios-pac was on a small ppv...MAYWEATHER-AUGUSTUS WAS ON SOME "KO NATION PPV" AS WELL..NOT THAT IT MATTERS..:good
Also, the majority of people wrote off Oscar vs Pac as a joke fight. If people had known then what they know now about Manny at the higher weights then I'm sure the fight would have achieved a significantly stronger buyrate.
haha.one or the other..either way they not gonna be too happy cuz this thread owns all the ones talking about "they both got the same draw power blah blah blah" if thats the case than why are the numbers so damn lopsided overall??:huh
Floyd is def. the bigger attraction, but damn every time I see these numbers I laugh when people say Cotto was not a big attraction. His numbers could clearly compete with these two guys prior to their victories against DLH and Hatton.
Honestly, they never discredit anything. They just dismiss/ignore things. No matter how glaring the facts are. :think
Cotto was a major player. He was definitely an A side fighter. He was not ODLH, FMJ, or MP, but he was not a fighter that ANY promoter would mind working hard for. :good
Trust me Floyd and Manny got bigger with their defeats over DLH and Hatton. If Cotto would have been victorious against Margarito and then face DLH. Trust me his numbers would have surpass Manny/DLH and done real great numbers similar to thos of Floyd/DLH. That was the talk of boxing for months and the fight was not even official. Prior to that his numbers match and even surpass some of Manny's and Floyds anything before their fights with DLH or Hatton. The numbers don't lie.
PPV numbers show that Floyd wants and deserves the bigger share. Does it really matter though if he wants no part of Pac? :-(
