Huh? Real bad timing on Manny's part, if true. If this prevented the fight from ever happening... Well, I'll just leave that for now.
Really? :yikes Well the board doesn't reflect it. :nono People knew Pac is entering politics . . . but I don't think anybody knew that it's going to hamper his projected fight with Floyd. Not even Arum and Roach have any idea. :deal
I agree! Once he retires people will probably vote for him. I heard somwhere that his dream to be called by micheal buffer something like.. "from the red corner the fighting congressman from gen santos, philippines..manny pacquio!" we all have our own dreams but too bad his dream of becoming a fighting congressman is not what most of his fans want! It's ok if they strip him of the #1 p4p! PAC WILL just take it away from whoever takes over. Hopefully it's from PBF so it will be sweeter!
I'm sure arum and roach will try to convince him not to run! problem is the next election after next year will still be on 2013! I'm not sure if pac is willing to wait that long! :think
:good ...calling the implementation of Oplan No-el...calling the implementation of Oplan No-el... :yep
His fame at this point will basically sustain until he dies. He's probably the Philippines greatest athlete of all time, and even if he doesn't break into politics by the time he retires (loses this and the next election for a Congressional seat), he'll still very likely have showbusiness, and THEN eventually he'll find his way into some political position and goes from there. That being said, for this election, his only hope for winning the seat was to run unopposed (which would have then made March 13 or May 1 a viable fight date), but since the incumbent planned to re-run, Manny's very likely ****ed (especially considering the recent alleged infidelity scandal between him and his wife, who happens to be probably the most famous resident of the province Manny's trying to win a congressional seat in).
