I think I agree with this, though Floyd's might stand a better chance against Tito than he did Oscar or Shane at 147. But then again, Tito might be the most likely to KO Floyd at 147, primes.

Tough call, but I'm going with Trinidad.

There's one thing missing in your analysis here... There's one thing that B-Hop has that Floyd didn't carry thru WW and that is POWER. Floyd doesn't the the proper power to keep Tito at a safe distance. I mean, yes, Floyd will try to box him all the way from San Juan to New York but he won't be able to keep Tito off him as Tito will find out that Floyd's punches won't hurt him and that will be the beggining of the end.

I think i'll go with mayweather in the decision, but size matters as well esp. at 147, tito is known for his nasty left hook, but in my opinion very underatted with his great body shots setting up for his hooks... but the reality is mayweather would have never faced tito, come on he turn down what would've been his largest payday before facing DLH...:D

Mayweather wins this by UD imo.

Tito has the worst foot work probably of anybody Floyd has ever fought other then Corrales. Floyd would play it safe and win on points.

:rofl:rofl I think it has already been proven that Shane was or is not a force at 147. He only defeated ODH. That is all. Shane is not the fighter you guys keep hyping him to be. I doubt if he could get a W over Spinks.

Who did PBF actually beat at 147 that even compares to a prime Tito???
I love when people use the "he had trouble with boxers" and then use Hopkins, Winky or RJJ as examples. All three were bigger fighters than Mayweather and better overall. Hopkins and RJJ have more skill than Mayweather. You can even make a case that a prime Winky is a better overall fighter than Mayweather based on his dominant victories over SSM and Trinidad (both better fighters than anyone Mayweather has ever beat).

Reality is, the best name on Mayweather's resume is DLH and he barely got by with SD over a way past his prime DLH. Tito beat a prime DLH. I can't picture Mayweather beating a prime DLH (who was much faster, stronger, threw better combos and more importantly still had that fighting hunger) when he barely got by a 34 yr old DLH.

When will the nuthugging of Mayweather stop??? You have guys like Hopkins who should be 6-0 in his last fights, with 4 of the guys he fought (Winky, Tarver, Calzaghe and Pavlik) in the p4p top-10 at the time and all were badasses. Fighting the guys that Hopkins has been is what makes you p4p # 1 and being competitive and winning the fights at 40+ years of age only further proves how good his skills are!

    Now......

Trinidad by TKO. Trinidad is one of the best welterweights of all-time.

The one that barely got by with a controversial SD over a faded DLH would beat a prime Trinidad at 147???

Hahahahaha...lay off the crack pipe, stop with whippets, go back to the gym, watch some tapes, learn the alphabet and then re-read your post.

Great post and even though my head say Mayweather probably wins by SD, I can definitely see a PRIME Tito giving the WW version of Floyd a real tough go at it....

The one that relied on laying against the ropes and countering rather than moving would beat one of the biggest punchers in the history of the division? Somehow I don't think laying back and taking a beating is the best way to beat a monster puncher like Tito.
