Sorry floyd fans but he would be beaten and beaten well . Ray was quicker stronger taller better on the inside. Just the better fighter . Ray is the GOAT no question. Those who say floyd is either havent seen ray in his prime or where borin in the late 80s- 90s. Put it this way he ray leonard is the poor mans ray robinson.

what a stupid noob sounding post. Floyd is now 36 and is a very small WW who comes into the ring at just 150 and he just started doing that. He's now fighting in his 5th weight division. You compare him to a guy in his original weight? If you want to compare them then you do it in a P4P sense. You say a WW SRR vs a SFW Mayweather

Dude, you dont know nothing. Floyd was fighting Zab at WW and coming into the ring at 146 pounds while at the same exact time Pac was fighting at 130 and coming into the ring at 145 pounds. Even right now mostly all the 140 pounders weigh more then him on fight not so you obviously dont know what youre talking about.

Then you talk about those other guys moving up but how consistently great were all of them? Its like people on here say dumb stuff like SRL & Hearns would kill Floyd at WW. I always say how is that fair? If you are going to compare them then you do it in a P4P sense.

Them at WW is equal to Floyd at SFW and in that case he more than holds his own. Now on top of that if you want to judge how great all of them looked moving up in weight, Floyd also did bietter. Even Max Kellerman use to say that and that was a long time ago so I know he feels that way now

Floyd is too slick and black for SRR. Floyd will glide, slip, parry, block, philly shell, while gliding with his footwork with twitching movements and feints.

Floyd by UD over SRR but welcome to ESB where modern fighters stands no chance against classic fighters because that's what the oldies are holding on to and the newbies only seeing some youtube clips and they think no one from the current era can beat a fighter in the 50s-60s etc.. era.

Im not saying hes not great but hes no ray robinson. Robinson was just as good a boxer as floyd . Was fastee than floyd hit harder than floyd . Had a grest chin. And could go to war. Ray is just better face it

lets just say all of that is true. So what? Its all a matter of opinion and as long as you are in the converstation then you are doing something right. Its like youre saying that Magic Johnson is no Michael Jordan. Bottom line is its all different eras so who cares. They didnt fight and couldnt fight. Youre better off just sticking with guys within the era.

If someone called SRR the GOAT then I wouldnt argue with them at all but your thread was that SRR beats Floyd at WW and I said that is a horrible and unfair fight to make. The good thing is that Floyd has finally grown into WW more ( even though he's still really small) so all these fights with Floyd vs SRR, SRL, & Hearns look more legit but those guys are naturally much bigger than Floyd so it should be that way.

Im just sick of people making fantasy fights with guys in there 1st & best division who were huge at the weight vs a guy who is in his 4th divison and is small at teh weight. Those fights make no sense and are biased. Again, if you want to compare them then you do it in a P4P sense or you ask about who did better as they moved up in weight and in that case, Floyd more then holds his own with anyone

of course the greatest fighter of all time would have beaten floyd, especially at welterweight where robinson was indestructible
