Let's face it then move on: Pac's ain't good enough to beat Floyd. And what if he is? Floyd beat JMM who beat Pac who beat Floyd - that won't tell us who's the best fighter on the planet - Floyd vs. Sexy Sergio however will. Take two former WBC LMW champions (did you know that Martinez once was Mayweather's mandatory?) and make them meet in the ring at the limit they both performed excellently (Floyd clearly beating DLH, Sexy Sergio knocking out, schooling Cintron for the draw). I have to admit Pac, calling himself a LMW champ or not, is too small for a Sexy showdown, hell, he's too small for a Pretty one too, let him fight whoever Bob Arum has in store for him. But as far as true pound for pound is concerned - and boxing could do a LOT with a clear no1 - the fight to make is between the WW and MW champion, held at a fair and familiar meeting ground - and THEN when they met, Floyd can still fight the Pac-Bradley winner as Martinez can look for the Ward-Froch-Bute or Pirog-Geale winner. JMM showed it's not about the weight, it's about the skills, let the best two battle it out then and get the REAL face of boxing! :bbb :happy
Bring it awn! Martinez vs Mayweather going at it, and you're right about the place it should be held at... This content is protected :happy Sexy Sergio by Kay(TF)o!
No it won't A good big man beating a great small man (who's effectively two weight divisions smaller), will not mean he's a better fighter. Not in my book, anyway. The advantages that Floyd would be giving up, would be ridiculous. The same goes for Pac. If either of them lose to Martinez, it won't mean they are inferior fighters. He and Pac would still be above Martinez.
This is the only fight i want to see if pac is not gonna step up to the plate and he chooses to duck. Mayweather -martinez at 155 for the 160 title? Oscar did it with bhop so why not!
Of course, but why not match up two of the absolute best and leave no questions opened? The result of the Ward/Froch/Bute showdowns could be a full year away, and none of them are half as accomplished as Floyd, plus it's a new weight for Sergio. He and Floyd both had success at 154, so it's only natural they fight there. As much as I'd love to see the Mayweather-Pacquiao showdown, I want a highly competitive superfight even better.
Martinez and Floyd are just too far apart in size for this to be a viable fight. Sergio would have to drain the **** out of himself to make the fight happen and would take a beating. Don't get it twisted Mayweather-Pacquiao would still be highly competitive, much more than Mayweather-Martinez. I think Floyd beats him but its in no way a given.
May and Sergio at 154, is pretty even, especially when May has already fought and won at that weight already
what's the matter with you? are you some kind if ***git? what kind of grown ass man calls another man sexy? disgusting .....
