As much as I've said that Hopkins vs. Jones II is far too late, I can see myself paying for it come fight night. Too much of a fan to miss it. Also, with Haye vs. Ruiz on the undercard there is some extra value to it.

Do you thhink Bradley is a better, more powerful, faster, slicker boxer than Zab Judah? If he isn't or is just as good then Clottey will definitely beat him because he beat Zab up thoroughly. The fight wasn't even close if you actually watch it and not rely on biased scorecards.

Clottey is an extremely good counter puncher, with very good defense, good combinations, a quick right hand, quite fast hands and a hard(not powerful) punch. He is a bigger, faster, better accuracy, better left hand, better combinations version of Marquez with a solid defense and a bit lower activity and less risk taker.

Go watch Clottey's last 5 fights. The whole fights with the sound on mute and then form your own opinion. He's one good fighter. Not great but fundamentally sound, technical boxer and Pac has to be on the top of his game to just pull off the win. Anything less and he'll lose bad.

Clottey isn't exactly as popular as Mosley, what's your point?

In this fight Pac is relying on PPVs based on his name and only his name.

Who wants a lifetime bet that there would be more action in the Clottey-Pac fight than in the Mayweather-Mosley fight?

Although Mosley and Mayweather are big names fight, there is a 50/50 chance that it would be a snorefest, with the fight becoming too "tactical" or potshotting.

This is what I will guarantee, there is more action in the Clottey fight than in the last 3 fights of Mayweather combined.

What about PPV numbers? I don't really care much, if Arum losses money, it is his problem. But Pac has the responsibility to make this fight entertaining.

Because if Pac cant carry that PPV which looks like it might happen with Clottey's trainer, a horrible undercard. A match up not many want to see anyway..

Combine that with Mosley-Mayweather going to be a huge success.

Mayweather if the PPV stack how I think they will. Will be able to say give me 55-45 or 60-40. I am clearly more popular.

Im not saying he's right. Im saying he can if that PPV fails.

in terms of general appeal, i agree that mosley-mayweather looks great on paper but in case of the fight itself? pac-clottey will be a slam bang affair.

mayweather would most likely bore us all to death by staying away from mosley everytime. he tried being aggresive against jmm but backed out often thought he knew jmm can't hurt him. imagine how much more backing down pbf would do against mosley

it unfair to compare PPV sales, In pac-clottey we have one popular Asian against an unknown African. There is no 24/7. And both of them are classy fighters and you would rather watch paint dry than listen to them in the microphone.

In Mosley-Floyd we have two American household names talking **** on 24/7 and america would love to see two of its best fighters in the same ring.

Lifetime ban bet that more people will watch Pac-Clottey live than Floyd-Shane? :yep

Floyd-Shane at Cowboy stadium? Not when Floyd is using xylocaine.
